Well if you feel neutral, that's supposed to be about zero I think. +7 would be nearly as happy as a pig in muck. |

I'm usually straight in and out myself. I don't want a retail experience, I want food.
If I forget the list I can kind of wing it, but I don't like that and something always gets forgotten. |

It doesn't work very well for me either. The slightest little thing can shift my spirits a little bit one way or the other. By the time I've written it down it's moved a bit.
And I'm not sure that feeling good/bad is that simple. |

"It's the squeaky wheel that gets oiled."
Sad but true. The quiet ones get ignored. |

Yes, that's the kind of thing I was driving at. Even when I was at school I felt it was all their fault. One school friend stole a couple of library books on the day he left, which was very out of character for him. When I asked him why he'd done it, he replied "I always felt they owed me somet... |

^ Sounds like the care home would be the lesser of two evils then. Still not great of course. Hope you find a third way that's better than that. Maybe something will turn up. |

^ Funny if it works as a business model though. The mood it puts me in just seeing it doesn't make me feel like buying anything if I see an ad. I just want to ram it up the creator's bum. "Avoid loud and aggressive people, they are a vexation to the spirit." |

I think it's OK for a group to have whatever democratically-agreed rules it wants (pretty much) as long as they're written down clearly and plain for all to see, but I hate unwritten rules, because the effect is that innocent parties are lured into a trap, and they get attacked for saying something ... |

I feel sorry for people who have to beg for money, but I don't feel it's my responsibility to carry change just so I can give it to them if they happen to ask me. The difficulty in being able to trust the beggars has already been touched on. But mostly I'm too concerned about my own financial positi... |

Dunno. I too have a lot of trouble focussing on anything difficult if there's background noise of certain kinds, and I thought it was common with ASD. It's as if every burst of the wrong kind of background noise tears a hole in my thinking. I don't have a problem with continuous, smooth noise, it's ... |

Well they must have got some crappy rules then. I don't know why they'd want to be like that. |
