^ What a fantastic response! It was so great to read it! I appreciate the effort you put into giving such a thoughtful answer to my question! Thanks for saying that. It's no great effort. I just sit here and listen to what my little brain spits out, write it down, edit it a bit, and hit the send bu...

Time, season 1 episodes 1 and 2. The BBC one with Stephen Graham in it. Enjoyed it so far. It's about a chap who has to do a sentence in a really nasty prison. Stephen Graham's work always floats my boat. He's just like Craig Charles except for the material which is often a lot darker than Charles' ...

Did you grow up on Captain Pugwash?.

I most certainly did, Master Bate.

FUN FACT: Pugwash actually said that in one episode. I've got the sound recording somewhere that proves it. They must have been laughing their balls off when they were making that show.

Talking of "hello," I saw on the kids' show Blue Peter that there was a time when Britain was divided between the use of "hello" and "ahoy" when using a telephone, and that people would go around with their preferred word printed on their clothing or something, until t...

i told my dr how people have thought im autistic and my Dr says I don't seem autistic and he's a Dr so I guess he knows what's he's talking about. Well, you'd hope so, but they're only human. I know somebody who had 2 ASD assessments by 2 different teams, and one said ASD and the other said not ASD...

It's just a friendly hailing signal. But it's nice to think that most people who say it actually wish you did have a good morning. It's a bit too stiff for me, and I prefer "hi" or "eyup." I get bored with using the same greeting phrase all the time, so I like to switch them occa...

Funny how every government wants to rule the world as soon as they think they're in with a chance.

Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. I asked a Chinese guy at work once if China did socialism, and he laughed. I took that as a "no."

I can't fault it. I suppose it's just something I've always more or less done, protecting my own well-being. I'm often fairly quiet about it though. If somebody annoys me like that I'll often just take steps to render the deed impossible in future. Passive-defensive rather than passive-aggressive.

I have heard several people saying you care less once you get older. But I don't see how aging will change who I am. Unless if they are referring to the development of the frontal lobe. I saw an interesting book called "The Art Of Not Giving A f**k" which somehow made me feel better when ...

I've known that thing where time off work gets boring. I gather the only cure is to find something to do that's not too hard but not too easy. I don't know how I find things, it feels like I just stumble on them from time to time but I guess there's some intuitive searching going on. I'm a different...
