Heights, certain materials, 'bits' (though that's OCD.)

I have a fear of creepy-crawlies walking onto me uninvited, but it's not a phobia. (Ie, if I pick up a small spider that's fine, because I 'invited' it onto me, but if it crawls onto me of its own accord, that's not fine.)

Out of 30 faces, you correctly identified 14. You were familiar with 21 of the people in this test. If we exclude the ones you were unfamiliar with, you got 67% correct. --- Out of 20 target faces (ones you studied in the first part of this test), you correctly identified 14. Out of 30 nontarget fac...

For OCD, you CAN stop it(just like monk could), it just leads to an urge of wanting to complete or restart. ALSO, the compulsion is either always the same(There could be different obsessions, but any given one will constantly remanifest), or has the same trigger, and is not considered reasonable. Y...

It's like I'm not concious of it till it escapes the mouth. That's not something that you want to point out to your co-workers. I have always tho...

Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but presbyopia (by definition) is most often caused by age. I have worn glasses for ... er ... *counts* 8 and a half years (seven years full-time, as it were) and I certainly do not have presbyopia. And I can't see the top letter on the eye chart with either ...

It's my understanding that the Jehovah Witnesses never bought into racism, even in countries where it was the law. Also, as I recall, the nazis killed about a third of the Jehovah Witnesses in germany, something like twenty thousand people. They were the only people who were in concentration camps ...

I have heard of the theory that everybody has autistic traits, whether they are autistic or not. And I believe this is most likely true - I have never met anybody without an autistic trait. However, the difference lies in the number and severity of traits that a person has, it seems to me. Much like...

I can beat in time to music doing one rhythm, but if I try to beat two rhythms it's hopeless. I love conducting along to recordings that I know well though - I can conduct all of the dynamics and pauses etc - it's great fun :D

I remember those very clearly. I had to draw lots of posters with their names in French during the lessons I was in French instead of R.E. I couldn't even draw them very well, and I wrote their names far too small to be read at any distance ... you'd have thought she's learn after the first year, bu...
