Baseball was my favorite thing as a child, but I sucked at it. I couldn't hit the ball or catch it, I just enjoyed playing it. I never joined a team because of the fact that I sucked and I was afraid of competition. Still am.

I have been taking Ritalin for the past month, and it's helping my ADHD a lot. I feel more confident with what I do at work, I don't second-guess myself as much or worry about my bosses ripping me a new one over a mistake I might have made. As far as all my autistic issues, everything is still there...

I'm in Shreveport, Louisiana. It's a city of similar size to Little Rock and only 3 hours to the southwest. I vacation to Hot Springs at least once each year and I fly out of Little Rock most of the time because it's cheaper than our airport.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. In cities there are more services, stores, job opportunities etc. You probably would want to live in a medium size city. Big cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles can be rough. ruveyn I respectfully disagree ... at least in my own personal experience, w...

There are other treatments for AD/HD that don't involve Ritalin. I have ADD (with overactivity rather than hyperactivity) and I've been told that I am not allowed to have Ritalin because I have got Tourette syndrome and it could make that worse. I've been told that maybe I could have Atomoxetine be...

I never tried Ritalin. I kinda wanted to fake ADHD to get some after I had kids and was done breastfeeding for some energy. Thanks to all the meth users, there's nothing really good offered OTC. But I was afraid I'd be dependent upon it to go about my normal day. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, an...

Ritalin may not be something that works for you. I tried it and it didn't work for me. Try it for a little while; you're not getting unacceptable side-effects, so it's worth it to give it a fair shot; but whatever you do, if it doesn't work, don't just keep gulping those pills 'cause the doctor sai...

Hello guys and dolls, I haven't been around here much lately but I had to post some questions and concerns that are on my mind today. As some here may know, I am diagnosed AS and ADHD. Well, recently my doctor began to try experimenting with medications for me in order to see what works best for me....

I like fireworks. I like to get them and shoot them off (the consumer ones). But haven't done that in a while because no fireworks of any kind are permitted in Rhode Island.

Damn, even fireworks are "void in Rhode Island"!

More reason for me not to do drugs, from the sounds of it. I can't imagine the feeling of being hit in the head with a shovel as being a good thing.

This will not help you, but I had to chime in on the procrastination thing. I was in a car accident back in January, and I was quick to call the police and get them out there, and to even pick up my report from the police station as well as file my claim with his insurance company. But I have yet to...

Hell if I know. I was nine years old and who knows what I was doing during any of that. I certainly don't remember any of it because I wasn't watching the news yet back then.
