Someone said that Autscape was on then. I have been to Autscape every year since then and have actually been arranging my ho... |

Might be worth giving it a shot. :) It's an open group. That would put me off joining. I don't want the rest of my Facebook friends following ... |

Hi, I'm a 47-year-old Asperger male in Northern Ireland. My degree is in Music (Classical) and although I've not yet managed to make it my full-time job, it's what I should be doing and I continue to work at that! I have a particular interest in the teaching of musical instruments. Musically, I'm a ... |

This thread is making me think of the syllogism:
All cats are dogs.
Fido is a cat.
Therefore Fido is a dog.

As someone of the underconnectivity persuasion, I would say that the answer to the question "are cats autistic?" depends upon whether their general white matter connectivity levels as a species are higher or lower than that of humans, dogs, or other species. Even if any cat's behaviour is deemed by ... |

I strongly believe that people serve society best when they are in the right job rather than just any job. I also believe that the neurotypical brain is more of a generalist brain and that the autistic brain is more of a specialist brain, by virtue of connectivity levels. Put those two together and ... |

Mitsuki,
I forgot to say earlier that there's an annual conference/retreat called Autscape that would be worth your while considering.
Autscape
I've been to it for the past 3 years and hope to go again this year when it is in East Anglia. There are plenty of Aspergirls at it. |
