My issue is that people don’t realize that taxation has a “sweet spot” where it serves its purpose without harming any one side in a situation. Make taxes too high and business will leave…costing total revenue received. Raising taxes to compensate only compounds the problem. Make taxes too low and y...

The Emotional Instability Kavanaugh Proved in His Testimony is enough To Disqualify him In the eyes Of any Objective Rational Thinking Person From the Supreme Court As Even Trump could See He miserably failed His EQ Emotional Intelligence Test But of course He’s just a ‘Tool’. People who hold that ...

The whole event was a sham. I was molested by other students in 6th grade. I’ve also been falsely accused and had consequences inflicted without any investigation or verification of the acts alleged. So, I get both sides of this. Dr. Ford looked credible, but she clearly was prepped for her day befo...

I could live independently, but I moved back in with parents when debating going back to school, and I’ve never left. It was cheaper (overall) and easier than having a place of my own just to sleep and shower. I have little to no social life mandating a place of my own. As my parents aged, living wi...

One coworker of mine has been really helpful. She recognizes my OCD tendencies, and her latest advice is to repeat the mantra “Not my circus, not my monkeys.”

A key question is what is it about work that is doing this to you? Is it something about you or is it more tied to the work environment which might be wrong for you? I’ve had my share of job woes, but I’m in a good place now. When it’s good, it’s good. When it’s bad it’s horrible. I’m lucky that wha...

And...of course...what might not harm the vast majority of infants might be the “tipping point” for infants with certain genetic markers. Saying any drug or vaccine is pretty much laughable. How many have come with the FDA’s blessing only to be pulled in a few years? Even the “safest” of drugs have ...

Other than the camera, I doubt it offers anything worth the price of upgrading. Face recognition is problematic from a security standpoint (not that you can't turn it off, but then why upgrade). Most people I know consider upgrading EVERY OTHER model release. Usually then the improvements are substa...

One for work. One for personal. One for online things which will probably sell your address to spammers. THIS. I've known people to CHANGE e-mail addresses just because of SPAM issues on their personal e-mail. Businesses have to buy expensive software to eliminate SPAM as it's seen as better than r...

AC3 ended my interest in the series. The "goose chasing" got too tiresome. One of the few games I've never finished in spite of my normal compulsion to do "everything" in the games I buy.

Safe = not satisfying but reliable Dream = satisfying but considerable risk of failure Much depends on your tolerance for risk and how well you handle failure. Every "successful" man I know (or who has a "dream job") got a lot of NO before they found their YES. It was a test in p...

Sent a letter to EEOC asking for advice on how someone with Autism/AS but undiagnosed (due to many falling through the cracks) would "prove" they are disabled for the purpose of bringing a claim or proving a claim. Response treated my letter as a desire to open a claim. Typical canned resp...

If you find out, let me know. There are darn few "qualified" experts on adult diagnosis (although being 20 is close enough that the "raw material" is there to diagnose as if she was still a teenager). I've been trying to track down someone in my area, and with no luck. I can tell...

Well, let's define a difference between "lying" and "confirmation bias." You feel that you don't regularly say things to offend people. I feel the same way. GUESS WHAT? I regularly offend people if I'm not careful. I have no INTENT to offend others...indeed I get distressed if I ...

Yes, I think you can be socially awkward without AS. I think the line is drawn by seeing if you fit the other criteria of AS. And I agree with Tim that there can be social aspies. Many people brushed me off saying I wasn't AS because my social skills were 'too good.' THIS, and boy does it annoy me....
