I am a gay Aspie. Being an Aspie is more frustrating day to day than being gay at least for me....because i lose and forget things constantly. Being gay is getting more and more easy all the time.....but I am celibate that may have something to do with it.

I find other cultures fascinating and actually less intimidating. I do not know them and they are generally more tolerant of odd behavior in tourist areas since there are so many different people around anyway.

I am a "failed" pilot i have 3500 hours of flight time and was a very good flight instructor in small planes. But when I got hired as an airline pilot I could not keep up. I suggest you start flying and see where it goes. Be honest with yourself and realize that this is something you need to be very...

I am an airline employee and travel a lot. As an Aspie/Autie you need to give yourself plenty of time to travel don't try to do things on a tight time line. Also buy food at a local grocery store and eat in your hotel room, this will give you a more authentic experience like you want and avoids eati...

It may be that your friend will always struggle with this issue. Tough Love (letting people fail) does not always work with Aspies. There is a new advertisement for a co program called "Automatic Discipline" that i am looking into for myself. I think they automatically take money out for your necess...

OK, a guy just brought this up so I'll bring it up too. My Psychiatrist asked if I "see things out of the corner of my eye" alot, and I do. I also hear my name or think people are talking about me when they aren't. I thought this was kind of normal....is it?
