Never thought of PPR as a super-progressive forum (as any thread about feminism will attest to), but then again I'm an actual social democrat so I am left of most American reform liberals.

In the US, the UCC is the United Church of Christ, and it's a very liberal Protestant denomination. Is your UCC similar? Yes, it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Church_of_Canada#Beliefs_and_practices Though it has a dark past. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Church_of_Canada#Indigenous_...

A lot of rural California's economy is under the table, so it looks more impoverished than it actually is. Well, the informal sector isn't taxed, so that makes it even less likely that middle income hardworking rural folk are subsidizing those spendthrift city slickers with their hard earned tax do...

I think Raptor more or less admitted to trolling once (essentially, doing stuff to get a rise out of "liberals"). And we a...

My favorite thing about Wal-Mart is the DVD trough. It's just a giant pit full of discount DVD's. Like, there's no way to look at what they have for sale without abandoning your dignity. There's no "cool" way to burrow into a vat of cheap DVD's. You can get better at Amazon.com and all you need to ...
