Have you considered Slippery Rock University (in Pennsylvania), or Cal State Northridge? Those are the ones I am considering. Slippery Rock? Prepare to be bored: That campus is small and isolated, and not good for getting into good grad schools. (I've been there a few times; it's nice for someone w...

Am I attractive? If I had to rate myself, I'd probably say 6 (out of 10), but I feel completely in the dark; I don't know how to judge the attractiveness of men at all.

I haven't received my full set of school results so I can't really apply now. As an applicant from Singapore, I need to attach my A Level results to my application, if not my preliminary examination results --- and I flunked the exam due to some personal factors. :x, Do you know what the essay topi...

I am interested in having sociology as my concentration/major. I just want to investigate more on Michigan society and its impact on the world, nothing else. Thanks a million! :) Have you already applied? If you wrote an essay, you should have explained why Michigan (the state/culture) interests yo...

What are you planning to study? This should be something that you keep in mind when deciding where else to apply. As for Michigan, they have branch campuses, which you'll be able to get into. If you maintain a 3.0 at a branch campus, you'll be able to transfer to Michigan after a year or two. If you...

For those without much social skills to exploit the social circles in a 4-year college... do you think CC will work better for them? And for bad CCs, at least we are given a chance to prove ourselves in a low-cost environment, isn't it? I actually think that CCs are worse for people with bad social...

I had a good experience, too. Agreed, that a lot of professors were more than capable of teaching at larger universities. In fact, many of my professors there taught part-time at my CC and at a larger universities in the area. On top of the money, I think that you should go to a CC if you don't kno...

I had a great time at CC. It's a great way to get a fresh start in life. I had the opposite experience that some previous posters have had; the university I transferred to seems to have a lot more of the high-school attitudes, while the CC had a more adult atmosphere. I made a ton of friends, raise...

No offense, and once again, I'm surprised that Aspies of all people don't have the balls to be brutally honest, but it IS creepy that you've invested so much time thinking about some woman you don't even know and how to ask her out. Also, the fact that you would tell a random stranger, who's alread...

lol. Yeah, well, my intense interests are philosophy and music, which I don't think are too bad. Most of my philosophy professors (many which are very quirky) have wives. But, anyways, my friend looked this girl up on facebook and it turns out she has boyfriend, so there goes that. I should be able ...
