Clive Barker's Undying for the PC. I don't know why anyone has pretty much never played the game. It had a lot going for it. ... I agree wholeheartedly. Undying was awesome. (Survival?) Horror at it's finest. It's too bad it didn't do very well in the market, I know that the developer was planning ...

Yeah, I noticed that letting it cool off after a long day "fixes" the problem. So far it hasn't failed completely on me (all my stuff is backed up now, btw) but I have gotten 2 blue screens and 'Operating System not Found' errors already.

The laptop that I'm on, an IBM Thinkpad T30, has been having a strange issue as of late. Occassionally I hear the hard drive start to click, indicating that it may be damaged or dying, and then a few minutes/hours later the thing actually dies. Whenever I try to boot it, it gives me the "Operating S...

I have fond memories of Police Quest and King's Quest. Especially the old DOS King's Quest (I think it was the first or second game, not sure). I remember back when we got our first computer, an old Intel 386 with 2 MB of ram, 1 MB of HD space, we also got a copy of King's Quest with it, but the cop...

I think autism CAN get worse as one ages. When I was younger (according to my mom at least), I hated the tags on the back of t-shirts, would only ever eat two types of food (bread and cheese). By the time I was in middle school I had to deal with problems socializing, the fact that my parents didn't...

Here's what I disliked: 1. I didn't buy Chain of Memories for the GBA, nor did I play it before jumping into KH2, so when I finally got to play KH2 I didn't know what the hell was going on. 2. I felt that the battles were way too easy. For me there was too much emphasis on flashy moves and poses rat...

I see that among the autism community, there are those who oppose the idea of a cure for autism, while there are others who support it. What I don't understand is how this cure is supposed to work. Whenever I think of "curing" autism, I picture a doctor injecting an autistic patient with something, ...

Hi. So how much computer programming have you done already? Not much. I've touched C++, Pascal, Python, HTML and CSS, but I haven't made anything other than really small programs (calculate average, guess-the-number games..) and scripts. Lately I've been tinkering with Tkinter and wxPython, and I'm...

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies. I didn't think it'd get to two pages in the space of a single night. I think the Aspie Quiz - < link removed because it's giving me problems. >- can be quite accurate. It uses the same questions my psychologist asked me when I was diagnosed a few months ago. Nev...

I found out about Asperger's not too long ago, just right after the beginning of the new year, and I think that it describes me perfectly, but for various reasons I can't go see a doctor to get a formal diagnosis. I've had to rely on online material to help me self-diagnose, specifically online test...

Hi, my name is cornjuliox (I'm not gonna give my real name out just yet), age 21, grew up in America, but I moved to the Philippines when I was 14 and have lived here ever since. My obsession is video games on all platforms, but my platform of choice is the PC. I first discovered Asperger's on Wikip...

I don't usually go to parties, unless I'm forced to or its a LAN Party or something related to my interests (Ironically, I've never been to one of those before, but I wouldn't mind). I'd love to go to this year's PAX (in Seattle, I thinK), but for the most part I avoid social interaction when necess...

Hi, I'm cornjuliox. I'm 21 years old, I live in the Philippines, and I think I'm an Aspie. My interest is primarily in video games of all kinds, but also in computers and programming. I haven't started college yet (money issues), but I'd like to go to Japan to study Game Design and the Japanese lang...
