Touhou 18. I have been working on clearing on all characters on normal difficulty with true end conditions. I've also been playing Touhou Blue Devil in the Belvedere, which is a fangame with gorgeous visuals and creative design. https://youtu.be/cPkWsxCZc8A https://youtu.be/Jg0pcbh9ZIk https://youtu...

Touhou Blue Devil in the Belvedere. I used all the characters to 1cc on normal, my next goal is to do the same on hard difficulty. I tried the extra a couple of times but it's been a while since I've played games, so I think I'm a bit too rusty for that at the moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

If you're looking to narrow down hardware choices based on price, performance, dimensions and compatibility, https://pcpartpicker.com/ is the place to start. Unless you're doing some sort of small form factor build you don't really need to worry about compatibility though, just get whatever graphics...

I just bought a new monitor to remain in vertical orientation, so I've been spending time between Mushihimesama and Touhou Fairy Wars. It's great! I can play with about double the display size I had before compared to horizontal.

I'd like to see a company make a foray into off ear headphones, which seem like a logical extension of open backs. I've only seen them developed on platforms like Indiegogo, but I'd like to see what a proper brand like Shure or Sennheiser could do with the idea. Until then I'll stick with my Sennhei...

I just finished reaching the good ending of Omori. I'm glad I picked up the game, it's the best proper JRPG I've played in many years. It has fairly simple but interesting battle mechanics, a really unique and visually striking art style with hand sketched animated sprites, and a banger of a soundtr...

I don't have a fitness tracker, but I play a game on my phone called 'Burn Your Fat With Me' in which you do exercise sets to earn points to advance the story. It does track calories burned and reps/sets done over time.

I own about 90 VR games, but few of the variety you're looking for. The Gallery is an episodic adventure game with some light puzzles, but is mostly narrative driven. It has the feeling of an 80s adventure film. A Chair in a Room is a similar type of game, but with more focus on creating an atmosphe...

I use a GPD Pocket 2. Having purchased several of the company's products, I think not all of them are great, but the GPD Pocket 2 is their best product I've used. It's a small laptop with dimensions 181x113x14mm, 7 inch display, weighing 465g.

I have no idea why I like it so much but I'm just glad Laid Back Camp has a new season. Not really the sort of thing I normally watch but it makes me feel nostalgic and want to spend some more time in nature IRL. Other shows I'll be continuing this season in order of interest include Attack on Titan...

Wait, you like Hollow Knight but have no interest in Dark Souls? That seems really odd to me, since the former is so indebted to the latter with its influence.

the smaller the display, the fewer the number of pixels which will fit in it, hence the coarser image. Whilst the first part of that statement is true, it doesn't apply to most real world scenarios. Most displays have nowhere near the maximum density of pixels possible for their display area. Inste...

It was my favourite game of 2017. There were some minor things I didn't like in the original, like the lack of map features, and the simplistic combat, so I'm looking forward to Silksong and hope those things get a bit improved. I'd say that's probably my most anticipated game at the moment.

I think you're mistaken. Videos do not look pixelated on smaller screens; the complete opposite is true given a fixed resolution. What you're likely seeing is downscaling and compression artifacts introduced by whichever program or service you're using to send video in an attempt to reduce the size ...

I'm not really one for nostalgia and I think videogames are a unique type of media most able to take advantage of new technology and innovation. So generally at any given period my favourite game of all time is something recent. Currently I'd consider Outer Wilds to be the best game of all time I've...
