In my experiance most folks are cool with it, if it is a one time event. They really don't even remember that it happened unless it becomes a regular problem.

I totally understand, as my ex was the same way. Fortunately he was good about explaining how he got people to respond to him and paitent with my meltdowns. How did your hubby react to your meltdown? Was he suppotrive. That helps a lot.

I found myself pondering if the number of Aspies who are tg adjusts to the general Aspie population gender distrubution. I.E. a higher proportion of FTMs are Apie than an equal number of MTFs.

Don't let anyone make you feel bad by saying you should be over it because x amount of time has passed. Everyone greves at their own pace. That being said, make yourself aware of the stages of grief. I did my first job for 22 years and when it became stale, went back to school, got a different job in a different field and I love it. I confess I'm planning on what I will major in 20 years from now for my next job.
