Flouride has been in our water supply for many decades now (almost a century I think) and IQ levels have been increasing throughout this period. I wouldn't worry about it. Yep. as a chemist I can tell you that it takes significantly higher levels of Flouride in your water than currently used to hav...

There's a huge difference between lieing and brutal honesty. ^ This There is a big difference. You can actually be too honest. My sister-in-law has the problem of being too honest in interviews, and thus has great difficulty in securing work. She hasn't learnt that there are just some things people...

I adopt a "no ask, no tell" policy when it comes to interviews, always put your best face forwards and worry about the negatives once you actually get the job. then you work through it. If you have to, word your response in such a way as it shows that you have the issue in hand and its not an issue :)

All that time and effort could have been spent getting a qualification suitable for vet or similar animal care career, then get paid for what you love to do. I don't know your background, but surely giving up with disability pension is hardly good for the soul.

I am a Chemist, some 19 years career so far, and I also hold a biology degree. I am mathematics stupid, cannot do calculus, but most other maths I can do to at least a fair level. Failed 1st year university maths (calculus primarily, but funnily enough blitzed statistics), and after talking to cours...

I have a degree in biology under my belt, as I do a Chemistry degree. my career has been all about Chemistry, and now work in the Oil&Gas industry, been a pretty good ride. What has helped me, especially with lab work, is my Aspie focus on a topic, it works well :) Bit harder these days as my jo...

I suck at interviews too, but have never let being an Aspie get in the way of anything, nor has been an issue anywhere I have worked if I tell them or not. This is the best attitude to adopt. A tip for interview that i find works for me, just remember that there is a structure to any answer (rules a...

Statistics from places that have decriminalise marijuana show that there is a small jump in use after decriminalisation, but very shortly after that it comes down to the same or less than before.

Goes to show. legal or not, people will still smoke

My favourite vodka is Grey Goose, it's so smooth. It's like you barely taste it but at the same time it's so potent. Having spent 3 years working in Russia I learnt what good Vodka is supposed to be like :D Grey good is 'alright', but my fave come from the Ukraine and comes by the name Nemiroff, yo...
