I just read a list of traits for females with AS, and unlike what it said appearance is a big deal for me. I love trying new things with makeup and making my hair perfect (maybe I go in the opposite direction back into Aspieness with that, lol, I tend to obsess over my bangs being [i]just right[/]) ... |

I used to bite the skin off of my fingers around my nails when I was younger. I still do it sometimes when I'm stressed. |

Most people are self-diagnosed before they receive a professional diagnosis. They don't magically become autistic when the diagnosis is given, they've been that way the whole time. This comes up often and it's nonsense. |

I wouldn't bother getting one for myself, since I don't even have one for my penicillin allergy, and I've been told plenty of times that I should... but I hate those bracelets, they're so ugly. |

Because he can't stand touch. I did explain this to them, and to prove it they needed to look in his wallet, but they didn't believe me. Nor did they believe him when he told them, before smashing his head into the pavement, rendering him unconscious. I must point out he didn't actually do anything... |

I attended a party New Year's Eve, and as expected, I became overstimulated by the loud noise and people and had to excuse myself to rest in an empty room for a bit. Someone walked in called me creepy for being there alone =/ Naturally this bothered me, I don't want to be seen as weird or creepy but... |

My first kiss was with my boyfriend when I was 15. It was really awkward and weird. |
