I don't have any super specific advice but I'm thinking of some things you could try. Also a queer aspie female, by the way. 1. Does she like penetration? You can do a lot of different positions with a strap on, which means either you or her could be in control. Also frees up your hands to use elsew...

I can tell you with certainty that you can go to the Philippines, point your finger at a random group of single women, pick one out from the lineup, and she'll marry you, no questions asked. I've met some American man who were older or overweight or whatever who had fairly beautiful Filippino wives...

I've had chronic headaches for years, along with migraines. People mistake my headaches for migraines because of the light and sound sensitivity, but I have those all the time because of AS. Topiramate (topamax) was helpful for me, but it has some annoying side effects. These include loss of appetit...

My friends and family comment about how I never, ever get embarrassed (which is pretty much true). Although, I feel extreme embarrassment for other people, whether it's someone I don't know in real life or someone on TV who isn't even real. Can anyone else relate to this? I've heard a few people say...

Most pleasant: Being able to think way into the future and see it from different angles, and being able to think super logically about things
Most unpleasant: The anxiety and panic attacks that come along with how hard I think about things

I have dated an aspie in the past. I loved that we were both quirky, but not that we were both so stubborn. I would like to date another aspie in the future, but it's not a requirement.

I don't have Chrohn's, but I have a condition that causes me extreme fatigue and lots of pain. I have dated several people in the past, and my current partner has been the most supportive of my condition. I don't know if you have AS or if you partner does or what, but maybe think of it this way. If ...

I don't have a specific range. I don't tend to be attracted to people who are morbidly obese. I'm more concerned with whether the person allows their weight to interfere with their life than their weight in pounds. I like slender guys, but I prefer thicker girls over super-skinny girls.

I graduated high school. I thought I wasn't going to, though, because of absences due to medical problems. I wouldn't have graduated if I had gone to public school. I tried it for a while, but I had meltdowns in class and extreme anxiety all the time.

I rarely cry in front of others, as someone else said. I also have trouble if I am trying to talk while crying.

The thing I've heard most from people I interact with is that they associate AS with retardation. I don't know if they necessarily believe everyone with AS is ret*d, but they do strongly associate one with the other. I also get asked a lot of questions about sense of humor (as in having no sense of ...

I think a lot of cases of prosopagnosia (not proposagnosia) in Autism is caused or at least exacerbated by problems with eye contact etc. i.e. it's not so much a neurological inability to recognise faces but the behavioural habits of not actually looking at the face as carefully as NTs in the first...

I'm an undergraduate Psychology major, and soon I'm giving a presentation on Face Blindness in Autism. I don't experience face blindness or proposagnosia myself, so I wanted to hear from those of you who do. If you don't mind me quoting you (completely anonymously, of course), please share experienc...

I don't listen to the beat exclusively all the time, but sometimes I do pick out one instrument and listen to just that one through a song. I can sort of separate it from the others, if I think about it.
