| Thanks for your replies. I am in another Aspie parenting group, and apparently, this speech issue is not that uncommon. Not sure what it is but some suggestions were a form of echolalia, vocal tics, maybe Tourette's and maybe just having his brain work quicker than what he is able to speak. I guess ... |

| I honestly thank you for your replies and I agree. He does need to work on those skills. We do have a homeschool group in place, and I am hopeful that he can make some friends. I don't know. | We have already made the decision to withdraw our son. I did speak with the school counselor and the boy did admit to what happened. The school offered to do what you said and monitor the bathroom interactions, but frankly, I don't trust that in a middle school of 1400 kids that my son will be monit... |

| Oh, and as far as I know, he seems pretty happy. He doesn't complain about going to school and I ask him from time to time if he is happy since I know he doesn't have many friends either. He always says yes. |

| On a positive note, I have read that the verbal stimming will help language development and my son is quite verbally fluent at 10 yrs old. So, you may want to allow him to do it. A good set of earplugs may be in order. |
