Hope is good, but hope is only a "wish" unless you are prepared to deal with setbacks on the way to attaining what you hope for. "Blind" hope is dangerous for it gives us false illusions. The answer is not "out there" the answer is only and always will be, within ourselves. It is hopeful to think th... |

I am going to be deeply controversial here and probably really offend people( and lets face it, this post is just my opinion and I am a terrible cynic in the guise of a "realist"), but if I let that hold me back, I would still be living in the dark ages of an emotionally disturbing and fragile exist... |

That's a good blog so I bookmarked it. By no great concidence, my daughter is wrestling with the things you blog about. Thanks Janissy, I hope it helped in some way and I hope your daughter finds some peace and good health. It is a bit of minefield. Some days are downright horrible, some are bearab... |

I like your blog, thanks for the link. :) Interesting stuff about ATP. Did you know that gluten-intolerance, ( often-hidden/asymptomatic ) , and the resulting intestinal damage can severely reduce our ability to absorb several of the essential nutrients that you mention, and is associated with a co... |

Wow. You just described me to a 'T'! I bookmarked the blog. May I show it to my counselor? Dryad, glad you found some common ground. Absolutely, share with your counselor. There is a print function on the "share this" button at the bottom of the post in the blog if that makes it easier for you. I a... |

I want to make a difference and facilitate a better future through awarness campaigning. Bare with me here... In 2008 I attempted, unsuccessfully to get a career on an Australian CSIRO research ship to be part of a better future for our home Earth. After a difficult job in a hostile location fell a... |

Being in the painful process of getting a literary agent, my greatest wish is for my book to be published. I had no real life understanding of the fear until I received an "interest" response from an agent requesting more of my manuscript. All of a sudden, my work for the last two years on a project... |

To the OP, I hear you. I have a had a life of extremely lucid dreams, and some extremely terrifying. A lot of the dreams I had as a kid were premonitory, and I was often right, down to peoples names and features, times and events. I would LOVE to sleep without dreams., as none of the dreams I seem t... |

Can I just point out here that there are people on this board who have been diagnosed with both AS and BPD. I am one of them, and it was hell. I was also diagnosed with traits of NPD and Anti-social PD and "psychopathic anti-social problems".......This was way before Aspergers was even heard of, esp... |
