I'm sorry your mother felt it was necessary to hide the truth from you. When I was diagnosed, the psychiatrist didn't think I should know either, but my mom knew better. And I was in my late 20s. And learning I had ASD answered a lot of questions I had about why I was so different as a teenager. I h...

Everything is bad for my brain. It's a wonder I can still remember my ABC's or use the potty because of internet and video games and rock music and Road Runner cartoons and comic books and phones and getting vaccinated for measles and etc etc etc...

I still often think of stupid cringy things I've said that happened at least over two decades ago. Of course, my evil brain loves to replay them whenever I try to go to sleep. And then I started making moaning or whimpering noises to block out the thoughts.

When I was a kid we called it a ghetto blaster. Back then I didn't even know what a ghetto was, and there aren't any where I live, as far as I know.

Although they look very similar to each other, the North American beaver has 40 chromosomes while the Eurasian beaver has 48. Because of this they are not genetically compatible with each other. Russia has attempted at least 27 times to cross-breed North American and Eurasian beavers, but only succe...

When I was a kid we had a play at school where kids were dressed like the phrase "Merry Christmas!", each wearing the letters on their costume. But the "I" has mysteriously gone missing, and it's made Santa very worried and upset. But then the exclamation point says she can take ...

A woman in Australia murdered her in-laws by serving them individual beef wellingtons made with death cap mushrooms.

From the looks of the news article, she's also not the brightest crayon in the box and a really bad liar.

The human brain is a very complex organism. We have multiple brains. Some exist on the left side of our skull and they are normally the daytime brains. Some exist on the right side of our skull and they are our night time brains that exist in REM and deep NREM sleep. But we have some very unusual b...

In a sense they are neither Friend or Foe. They are observers. They are from a very, very, very, very advanced civilization and they are watching. They are trying to determine if the human race is capable of moving on to the next level. We are standing at the edge of global and complete annihilatio...

I always worry that the power will go out. And not for a short time, either, but for hours or even longer while the food in my freeze thaws out and the milk goes sour. When we had Hurricane Fiona a few years back I had to throw away a lot of food that went to waste and it's made me nervous about buy...

When I was younger it seems like I was always saying stupid things that gave others second-hand cringe without realizing it. And that was when I was a teenager and a young adult. But then again, I've been watching videos where the interviewers of some tabloid trash gossip-mongering show ask celebrit...
