I'm afraid to go to sleep at night because I think my bed wants to eat me.
Some people have a monster under their bed, but in this case the monster *is* my bed. 8O

She should have just taken away the glass if she didn't want the cat pushing it off the table.

I used to think that USA would never have a war with Canada because they thought our country wasn't worth taking over. As usual, I was wrong.

Videos with the title "Only 70s/80s/90s kids remember these things!" I find it so annoying for some reason. Maybe because it's going on as if we're supposed to be special or superior for growing up without a phone we could take everywhere we went or something stupid like that. A lot of peo...

Back in medieval times it was the norm to use all kinds of torture on prisoners or chop off their hands for stealing a chicken. People who suffered from seizures were seen as possessed and burned at the stake. But now that kind of punishment is generally seen as barbaric, at least in most western co...

I didn't learn to tie laces until I was 9 or 10 but I can tie them very well now. I think the problem was that whenever someone showed me how to tie shoelaces I was unable to see it from their perspective and would end up confused.

There's a map of the Grand Canyon that shows all the places of people who have died in it. They have little symbols that show how the person had died, such as falling, jumping, drowning, environmental causes (such as heatstroke), or even murder. when you click on the symbols you get some information...

Yesterday I went to the mall and ordered a hot dog meal at New York Fries in the food court. It was good, but I was feeling some guilt due to the restaurant's name. And then I just discovered that NYF is really a Canadian restaurant.

I think something about exhaling slowly in order to blow a gum bubble might have a calming effect, along with the chewing and the sugary taste. As a kid I would have given Violet Beauregard a run for her money. But at least I never stuck chewed gum to elevator buttons. And I didn't chew gum in schoo...

Not all gender reveal parties have an explosion. But they are reinforcing gender stereotypes, and what if the baby doesn't want to be the gender they were born as later in life? It's like those commercials for dolls and stuffed animals I used to see when I was a teenager, where they revealed the toy...

Yes, I buy food. Food is expensive. Especially nutritious food. But people need food to survive and it's one of the basic human rights.

When I was younger I was always talking too loudly and I'd often embarrass my parents and my brother when we were eating out or doing other things in public. But I speak pretty normally now. Before I was diagnosed my parents thought I was loud because I had a hearing problem. I was always having som...

Then I must be a millennial trapped in a gen x's body.

It's hard to believe Canada was once more religious than the US, but I had to go to a Christian school in the 70s and 80s. My mom went to the same school when she was a kid. But we always lived a pretty secular life.
