The phrase "going postal", which is English American slang for an outburst of anger or violence, comes from mass murder incidents that happened in 1986 at the US Postal service where the workers went berserk and shot and killed many people. This has happened many times in the US and it's s...

It's always the same thing every year. Everyone complains about it, we hear nothing but all the problems it causes, and then nobody does a single thing about it. And I will very likely have to put up with it until the day I stop living. After we went grocery shopping my mother spent most of our trip...

I could never live that way if I could help it. If I had to due to an emergency survival situation, I'd be begging to go back to civilization.

I'm tired of people making me feel guilty because my apartment has stuff in it. Including such luxury items as heating and electricity.

I'll bet after tomorrow there will be lots of Americans wanting to movie up here to Canada again. Dare I tell them this country isn't the magical winter wonderland they think it is? Especially since they'll need lots of luck affording a place to live and buying food?

Humans have a primitive need to feel superior, so bullying others they perceive as weaker makes them feel that way.

I was reading about how some parents have removed the doors to their kids' bedrooms. I read a story someone had about when they were a kid they accidentally walked in on their parents doing it, in the middle of the day, and they ran to their bedroom and then their dad removed their bedroom door. I g...

Yesterday I saw a comic strip where a little boy is saying to an older man, "Yeah, I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age, either." I thought it was pretty funny, but I don't believe in reincarnation. I wish. Except that you have no control where, how, and who you will be bo...

I was around 14 or 15 years old when The Simpsons first aired. I think that should be something to be proud of, personally. :)

People who talk about something like an episode of a TV show they saw in 2008 and then they groan, "Uuuugh, I'm so old!". How old were they back in 2008? 10? 12, maybe?

I remember when the first Star Wars movie was just called Star Wars, how old do these younglings think I feel?

I was watching a video of game show moments that were funny or outrageous. I saw this one show that was in the U.K., where the players had to do things like press a buzzer that was surrounded by potted cactus plants. They kept stabbing their hands because they were blindfolded. And then the show just...

I don't remember doing that much repeatedly as a kid except maybe reading books or watching cartoons when I had already done it a million times. Apparently when an NT kid does is it's pretty normal because the kid finds comfort in how familiar it is, but when a kid with ASD does it, it's bad. Go fig...

Apparently watching Peppa Pig, Cocomelon, Caillou, and Skibidi toilet causes autism and ADHD in children. But people might be saying that just to be trolls. Or they might be serious, I can't really tell. Those shows do seem to lower attention spans and make kids act more bratty but they'd probably r...
