I agree about Mario being an animal abuser. He leaves poor Yoshi behind to fall off a cliff at the end of each level. What about Tails? I know Sonic is an animal too, but in the original games he leaves Tails to die many many times. Also Tails is an 8 year old kid, so it's child abuse, too. :P Ther...

Sometimes when I make a comment and I have to edit it because I noticed I misspelled a word or left out an important word by accident. Then it will tell others that the OP was edited, and people think that's incredibly bad for some reason. And then there are people who use about 10 emojis as a post....

Because some people thrive on being alone instead of with other people. But USA and maybe Canada are too extrovertive a society, and think introverts bad.

I don't know, I heard people with asd can be very gullible and naive. Like when you're in school and you think some of the other kids are your friends when they're not and secretly enjoying your "cringy" behavior. On the other hand, I was very resistant to peer pressure, and even now I see...

I saw a table with some old junk on it outside someone's house. There a sign that said "Free, take whatever you want"

So I took the table.

I've watched three episodes of MLP FiM on Youtube the past two days.

(Now that the brony fandom seems to have died down, I feel that I can enjoy watching it without feeling too uncomfortable now)

Never heard of them. But there's something about the word 'candy' that makes me feel nauseous. I don't know what that's about. In the UK we have chocolate and sweets. I'm glad we don't really use the word candy except for candy floss (what Americans call cotton candy). Although maybe I'd eat fewer ...

And Poles call it literally, sugar cotton wool :D

If you're a French speaker in Canada you might call it "barbe a papa", which literally means "Daddy's Beard".

Vintage TV and magazine ads from the 50s and 60s never fail to surprise me for how incredibly sexist they were. I just saw one ad that showed a woman on her knees while serving her husband a meal in bed with the phrase "Show her it's a man's world". It was an ad for a neck tie. Apparently,...

In spite of my being something of a self-advocate, I think I have some really bad internalized ableism. I have no job, no car, and I'm still getting money from my mother for groceries twice a month. Every adult you hear about who lives that kind of life is always a complete loser and the outcome of ...

I've never heard of Spree candy before. But I guess they're better than shooting sprees. Now that I think about it, I may have eaten Spree candies from bulk vending machines, which were mixed up with Runts candies (which are small crunchy candies shaped like fruits). But thanks to covid I hardly eve...
