Wull... yup?

I am perturbed by compliments. Not that I get that many - but those I do get fluster me.

Possible factor 1: the Spectrum
Possible factor 2: my family gave 0.00000001 to the 5th power compliments.

I am sometimes censured for producing few and inadequate compliments.

Cultural appropriation - I know that is not the focus, but I cannot help reacting. Exactly what proportion of the culture of African sourced Americans - and cultures would be more correct - does anyone seriously believe is African? My answer - very little. A god bit of independently evolved due to v...

Frankly, in my not a few years of experience, ithas not been worth saying anything to 95%. A few - often spectral like you - get you enough that you can talk about it - but I think that has to come first. I mentioned it to my brother and got yelled at for "using Asperger's as an excuse for my e...

How many of us - particularly Wrong Planeteers - have NOT noticed that if I do to Sherry those things I would like Sherry to do to me I offend, if I avoid doing to Sherry what I would hate to have done to me I cause pain?

It helps to be conscious of and gratedul for mystery.

I seem to pop into the forum about once a year - curiosity, I guess. Hoping things will have changed? Helpful hint - no clear evidence for change spotted in this groundhog's environment. Just for the record - I have no evidence I exist. Cogito - ergo I THINK I am, said the Little Engine that [maybe]...

To be fair [not that I always feel like it], from the standpoint of one involved in teaching / learning / schools from birth and a bit more than one generation before: They teach. They work for learning. The issue is WHAT. I wanted access to data on bugs. They wanted me to learn to play nice and sin...

But except for a sporadic visit like tonight I am no longere around - got fed up with pointless discussion in a forum where at sany given tikme abojut 5 knew how to think.

One [believing - not for me to define what] mother - oner unbelieving [antagonistic] father. A lot of reading of all kinds including [sacred] texts. No useful [religious] instruction / explanation, no [hard or soft sell] evangelism of any flavor. A significant camel's back triggering into [belief/un...

MissLizard she quoth - Sounds to similar to Osiris, and the Hebrews were in Egypt for a spell, just an old story about rebirth in the spring, blood being spilled, rising up.Just a new version. Indeed, and of course there is Tammuz, and more distant Persephone'. The Egyptian links are numerous and intrig...
