I rather have my gender revealed, so that people can know which answers to offer when replying to my posts (even a feminine username doesn't necessarily specify one's gender, although my username isn't feminine). When replying to people's posts, the responses you give can make a difference if you kn...

I just heard something very interested about rejection and I would like to share it. According to the video, he said that whenever someone rejects us,you don't need to explain yourself to these people because chances are they have already made up their mind about you. This may be true sometimes but...

I wish people wouldn't drunk post here, it freaks me out for some reason. I thought this was going to be a different sort of thread. Is the problem that they're drunk or that you've noticed? The OP did state that he was drinking. I don't think 'drunk posts' are intentional, and if they make n...

If I were in your situation, I’d be stressed, too. Don’t your bosses determine where you would park the buses? Normally, but I don't know this week. Nobody seems to know. That's what's stressful about it, that it hasn't been planned out because there are basically no solutions. There will just be b...

There's nothing wrong with disliking children, as long as you're not intending on causing any harm or being personal. Disliking children in general (but no child personally) is more common in adults than you may think and nobody is obliged to like everyone. I love the children/babies in my family or...

No I do not love myself. I've done too many stupid, embarrassing things in the past and also my outbursts made me say bad things to the people I love the most. Also it's easier to hate yourself when your condition is in your brain rather than anywhere else in your body, because your brain determines...

You’re going to have the same reactions the vast majority of people had, including myself: Slight wooziness for half a day, a day after receiving the vaccine. Sore arm. Nothing serious. I hope I don't feel unwell or woozy for too long, I've only got one day off work. But how come both the guy and h...

I heard a guy on the bus today talking about how his cousin died after having the vaccine. His body started bloating & swelling a couple days later & he died a few days after getting the vaccine. The guy on the bus said he got the vaccine shortly after his cousin did & he had some bloat...

I think it's just a way to make people with autism feel happy within themselves and not feel like autism means stupid.

But these days the public don't think autistics are stupid any more. They think autistics are heartless psychos, which I think is WORSE than being called stupid.

I know I keep posting here but I need to vent. For the next week or so at work there is going to be repairments and the ground is going to be dug up. I work with buses; cleaning them and parking them up and stuff, and it is going to be extremely stressful having to think where to put 40 large vehicl...

But it might change my brain function forever, like give me epilepsy or ME or something.

Now I'm scared to have the vaccine. Why do people have to put all this stuff into my head about it killing people just before I'm going for my first shot? It's taken me months to psych myself up to have the vaccine and now people here are coming out with these stories of horrific things happening to...

To me having Asperger's is like being born with only one arm. People with one arm can watch other people use both their arms and hands and take their arms for granted, and they might be able to imagine what it would be like to have two arms and feel they're missing out because they're lacking an arm...

I have a good autobiographical memory, where I can remember what year most things happened and what I did on most of my birthdays, etc. But I read somewhere that Asperger's makes it hard for people to remember autobiographical things and are better at remembering facts and stuff like that. That isn'...

Thank you for replying in this thread. I feel a bit better today. I've spent the day with my family and we all had a laugh. I'm glad my mind is a bit clearer now. I was worried I was going to descend into madness yesterday. If this keeps happening, I'm thinking of seeing the doctor and upping my Ser...

I was diagnosed at 8 and I still feel resentful about it today. I think if I was diagnosed in adulthood I might have come to terms with it quicker. But I just can't. Sometimes I get suicidal because I really hate being on the spectrum. If one or two of my cousins had it then I might not mind, but th...
