This topic of discussion started in another thread that was about food fights so I asked the mods to create a new topic on the subject of PTSD. |

I like drama-type movies, with general situations most of us face every day. The stories I write are drama-based as well, with a bit of comedy thrown in.
I remember watching one of the Transformers movies at the cinema when I was a teenager, and I was bored silly. |

Like I said, I thought PTSD applied to anyone who had any sort of trauma but it doesn't (I mean that as in matter of fact, not matter of opinion). I just have anxiety, which isn't as serious as PTSD. I overthink, when I get a negative thought in my head I obsess over it until I have gotten reassuran... |

We could just say we're traumatized but not PTSD. I'm traumatized by lots of things; deep water, vomiting, the general public... I hate when people go on about exposure therapy and all that. I think exposure therapy to deep water might help, but not with vomiting or being around strangers in public.... |

When you post something gross and someone tells you off for posting that because they were eating. Well, sorry, your majesty!
(Predictably someone will now post a pet peeve about when people post something gross). |

Be impulsive and gamble with consequences, because if I didn't overthink and get anxious then I probably wouldn't emotionally suffer so much.
Would you rather clean up someone's blood or someone's vomit? (For me, blood any day). |

I reply to a lot of your threads, and I've PM'd you. Some of your threads are repeated so maybe it's best to bump some of your previous threads rather than starting a new on the same topic. |

I will share some of my ADHD reports (but cover up any private information of course). It's at my dad's at the moment, and I don't know when I'll next visit but when I do I'll have a look through my ADHD reports and post some here. |

I get upset when people unfriend me on Facebook too. Usually people who leave work unfriend me but don't unfriend anyone else at work even though I know they aren't close friends or anything. I get a mixture of hurt and confusion. Also I've lost count how many people I have sent friend requests to o... |

My boyfriend was drunk today even though he's given up drinking. He only had 4 beers but judging by his behaviour it sounded like he had 14 beers. I hope this is just a one-off. |

I think your history certainly feels traumatic to you. People can experience traumatic things without having PTSD. It's similar to the way many people feel depressed at times, but it doesn't mean they meet the clinical standard for Major Depressive Disorder. Many people feel anxious but they might ... |

About 2 years ago. The ADHD diagnosis is so accurate that I don't understand why I wasn't diagnosed years ago back in school when I was being closely observed like a bug under a microscope. |

I did get tested for personality disorder after I was assessed for ADHD, but the results came back negative and they said that my behaviours and symptoms are all a mixture of Asperger's, ADHD and anxiety disorder. |

Well at first I knew I didn't have PTSD because I thought it was what Isabella explained, but a while ago someone here (can't remember who it was) pointed PTSD out to me and said that I may have it, from the bullying and social rejection I faced. So that's why I began considering myself PTSD. But co... |

I feel and understand love. In fact I have so much love in me that it needs to come out somewhere, causing the need to take it all out on my boyfriend by giving him lots of kisses, cuddles and love talk. Funny I feel love so much yet I have a lot of self-loathing in me. I think it's BS when they say... |
