If he was going to do it, he'd just do it just like that. The fact that he isn't just proves that he's only using threats to get attention. Maybe send him back to preschool and give him a toy to play with, he can pretend it's Russia and can get all threaty if another child wants to play with the toy.

But they're saying Asperger's doesn't exist, nor does severity, we're all just one size fits all autistic. No, the DSM 5 specifies 3 severity levels for ASD. That's true but a lot of people here have an aversion to severity levels and say that everybody on the spectrum are soooo different from one ...

I was a bit like it with my mum when I was a small child, although I didn't kick and scream though. If she was hanging the clothes on the clothes line outside I'd get really anxious and ask other family members where she was, I might even tell her off when she came back in for "leaving me"...

Most people I know don't keep in touch with friends they make on vacation but it's still nice to make "vacation friends" while you're there. My mum joked once "I think Joe90 must frighten people away, as nobody comes near us when she's with us!" She didn't mean it literally or na...

interesting how no one says they have robotic speech. I think robo speech is some kind of stereotype, cause irl no autistic person I knew had it either. what do you people think? I met one autistic person who had a monotone voice (which I assume is another word for robotic voice). He'd also repeat ...

Well I'm naturally social, which is why I don't always identify as autistic. I like getting to know people and I'm interested in people.

I can't even kill an insect, so God knows how I'd be capable of killing people. I bitterly hate anyone who kills people or animals for no reason.

i suppose it depends on how autism affects you in your case its like you have your foot in the door of the nt world (sorry if that wasnt the right expression but cant think of another way of putting it that means you know how nts work and you relate to nts a lot and your sort of one of them but one...

There are reasons why I'm ashamed and even afraid of being on the spectrum:- People with autism are often mistaken for being a criminal because we give off the wrong body language. The freedom of speech NTs have that we don't. For example they're allowed to yell "you're weird!" to an autis...

Well I just don't understand some of this woke mentality when it comes to entertainment of how people can be so easily offended, or so easily impressed. Me and my gf just watched the new Batman movie, and she was really thrilled how they made catwoman bi, or at least according to her she was. But I...

Usually I hear of murderers being very charming and chatty. Psychopaths are good at that and usually it's the psychopaths that murder, as, well, it goes without saying really. Unless they have a mental illness and don't know what they're doing, but most serial killers do know what they're doing. I t...

Maybe you're just so good of a company for them that they don't feel like they need to bother making new friends when they have you around? And when you're not there, they try to find a Joe 02? Must be it, although I fail to see how, although I do appreciate the compliment. :) And perhaps the reaso...

I get really angry if I hear a neighbour hammering on and off. Not so much if they're outside and I can see that they're constructing something. But when you can faintly hear it on and off from the house or apartment next door but not really any other noises that indicate they're doing some sort of ...

I don't get why people who smoke and drink alcohol (two things I don't do) lecture me for drinking soda drinks. I don't get why half the audiobooks I really want aren't available on Audible or any other audiobook apps. I don't get why the DVD store sells like a million CDs and records even though mu...

I keep having brain fog. Maybe I've had covid and didn't know it and now I have brain fog because of it. But I do have ADHD so maybe it's anxiety, stress and depression making me have brain fog.
