The internet is so boring lately. WP seems inactive lately, the only sections that are thriving are the off the wall and the PPR, which neither spark my interest. Oh and maybe the news and current events but that's all right if you want to scare yourself, which my anxiety doesn't need right now. In ...

I like all except heavy metal or heavy rock. Women tend to hate that more in generally, yeah, not many female fans of metal music. What about Power metal, try that? Its a more melodic style of metal music. For example this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzvY77AmLtw I like rock like Queen and that...

I just don't want people at work thinking I'm suffering with mental illness. I think there's a stigma attached to mental illness that you're "insane" or "mad" or something. But, then again, I believe mental illness is quite in these days, a lot of NTs I meet seem to be suffering ...

I've booked 4 days off work, not next week but the week after so that should "recharge my batteries", in other words give me a week's break from the monotony of routine. Communicating doesn't wear me out, just the drudgery of routine. I love my job, it's not that, it's just that I don't ha...

People with a really loud sneeze that makes you jump every time. The noise of their sneeze echoes around the room about 3 times and shatters through you. I'm a hefty sneezer but I don't shout my sneezes out. When people advise me that exposing myself to my fears and anxieties will cure me. This may ...

I feel my routine is so repetitive, I just need at least three consecutive days where I can just do nothing. The weekend isn't long enough and is usually full of things that need to be done that I don't get a chance to do in the week. I don't have many annual work holiday days but I'm tempted to tak...

Funny how the episode Homer Badman didn't cause a controversy about Scottish people being perverts spying on people. I bet if Groundskeeper Willie was Indian or African or Japanese or whatever there'd be an uproar and the episode would probably have got banned.

I don't want agoraphobia because it's a very misunderstood condition, people with agoraphobia usually get called lazy or a p****. But to those that suffer with it, it's real . I am starting to fear being out and about on my own. It's not so bad when I'm with someone or if it's morning but otherwise ...

The only alternative is to swap with them, but my boyfriend will need a lot of convincing to do that, because he finds stairs difficult with his knee problems and COPD. We'll probably be quiet for them, because we spend more time sitting around than anything else, and if we did need to do an activit...

I know, this is where it isn't fair. But I really don't think they should be exercising late at night though. Last night it was midnight and they were still making loud banging noises in the living-room. I'm having trouble sleeping so I tend to stay up late but I just want to watch the TV (quietly) ...

Our upstairs neighbours have taken to exercising late at night in their living-room, and sometimes during the day too. It's extremely distracting and annoying even for my NT boyfriend, who doesn't usually get affected by neighbour noise. They have hardwood floors up there so we can hear every footst...

I think we should also have a section for adults to talk about their childhood. I don't mean the school and college life section.

I'm wondering if anyone here has been in a long-term relationship that started with "normal" sexual contact, but became completely sexless at some point. Were you able to maintain the relationship for long when this happened and find ways to adapt to this new mode, or are such relationshi...

I don't mean I hate people, I'm just saying that I dislike the human race and what we're doing to the planet and how greed makes the people in charge be blind to the obvious. What humans will probably do in the future, in order:- 1. Play God by inventing something that makes humans immortal (as in w...

You would be surprised how many women have trusted me with these sorts of details. Part of it is because I'm, sort of halfway, not seen as being a "typical man." Women do talk about their ailments more. I do, but I don't like talking about farting. That's my personal business and I'm the ...
