I've had bad anxiety & panic attacks before. What majorly helps me is taking the med Buspar/ Buspirone regularly to help prevent my anxiety. Taking the seizure med Neurontin/Gabapentin helps with my OCD thoughts & obsessions & reducing those also helps prevent my anxiety & panic atta...

Last year I got an Amazon gift-card from a class action zoom lawsuit. I had received a similar type of email as Kitty the year before. A quick google search confirmed there was a lawsuit going on & the email was potentially legit. I didn't have to provide a lot of personal info, mostly info that...

 My friend has been diagnosed with ADHD. She thinks she’s also on the autism spectrum but has learned to mask so well that it’s very unlikely she would get a diagnosis now. Is that true? Surely if you are autistic then it can be picked up at any age, even if it presents itself differently. A l...

Are you a heathen if you do rude things with crucifixes I don't think about that. I just enjoy watching the vids  but I never been religious despite going to a couple Catholic schools. Perhaps I appreciate the rebellion aspect of those vids. I recently had three days to by myself because m...

I'll give some examples of when being a perfectionist can be good or bad in the workplace from my own working experience. My first job was dish-washing & I was praised a bit because the dishes I washed were almost always perfectly cleaned. Whereas some other dish-washers were not quite as detail...

Meltdowns for folks on the spectrum are psychological and physiological reactions to stressors/stimuli; you're not throwing tantrums. Understanding and parsing through what leads up to your meltdowns can help you avoid or least control when they occur more consistently. If your parents have "s...

To the opposite sex? Yes, an expensive car is a symbol and recognition that you may be a good provider. Which is totally valid. It could also be a sign that the person has a cr@p ton of debt or that they spend most all their money on their car. I do have a follow up question. Is the absence of a mo...

Some people associate cars with a sign of success or being fun or being tough or mainly or whatever but I don't think like that. However I do associate taking mufflers off of motorcycles or mussel cars as being a huge d!ck who intentionally wants to annoy others. I also associate coal rolling as bei...

Congrats to the both of you. I know finding a decent apartment can be a major struggle these days. I'm sorry you had to deal with the slum lord place but I'm very glad you stood your ground & were able to get them to just let you out the lease with all your money back. Still not worth the hassle...

I never wanted to have kids. I have various mental & physical disabilities some of which are related to autism but others are not. The odd thing is most of my disabilities including autism could supposedly be inherited but I don't really have any extended family members who have any of my issues...

Perhaps it would help to try meeting women in different contexts than the typical bar/club/party alcohol type social scene. These are just a couple ideas I'll toss out there. In person & online support groups for people with autism, anxiety, depression, or other types of issues that you could re...

Well you won’t be left behind. I’ll most likely be a 50 year old, 60 year old, 70+ year old virgin who’s never been on a first date. Women (both NT and autistic) don’t want to date an ugly and autistic man. Unfortunately that’s what I am. There are some exceptions & my current girlfriend is one...
