I have possibly a low self-esteem issue. That is because of what is generally known about autism: lack of social skills, even if it is true that there are difference in social skills between the autistics, even without an intellectual impairment (below-average IQ). A second point is that I have been...

I smile a lot, actually, especially when I was a child of 8, 9 years old but not after that and as an adult the last few years. This means that I decided to smile less often. Why? Because with smiling I attracted unwanted people, so I thought, when I smile less, people will leave me alone and will b...

It started with the subject about either buying a house or renting a house. "I told my group home counselor that I prefer to rent a house because it would easier to move when I once have a relationship. But I am not a man to have a relationship with." She: "How so?" I: "You know... I am autistic, so...

There is too little, enough, and too much eye-contact. When the person, talking to me, has too little eye-contact, I think, he/she is talking but he/she is thinking about things not related to the conversation subject. I think that 70 or 80 % of eye-contact is normal. If a woman makes way more eye c...

the moral crusaders were pushing here recently to outlaw prostitution here in Northern Ireland. If you want to know the source, it is people forcing their religious dogma down the throats of everyone. Indeed. In my book, people don't have the right to force others to do something because of these p...

My humor mainly consists of sarcasms, puns, taking things literally although knowing it is meant figuratively (how do you say that in English). I work at school and pupils (especially teenage girls between 14 and 18 years old) say I am generally in a better mood than other personnel members. They of...

I truly love kissing! It is awesome to feel someone's tongue in my mouth, especially if it is long! I love various ways of kissing, playing with tongues, sucking someone's tongue or she sucks mine. I don't taste the kissing partner's saliva, but it is more her tongue that feels very good, especially...

That's good billiscool, but don't write yourself out of the dating game straightaway. The Question is do Girls enjoy talking to you? If they do, you never know that a girl might take interest in you, you just don't know. But enjoy other aspects of them. It is often young women (or at school teenage...

2.) NT's form opinions quickly. While an Aspie may have a good heart, their awkward behavior may get them disqualified before that heart can shine through. True. Too many women think: "I won't date an autistic. Period. Whether he has social skills or not. Whether I can have fun with him or not. Eve...

I have read a Dutch article about autism (not only Asperger) and crime: http://kleinehans.nl/wp-content/uploads/Artikel-De-Boze-Autist.pdf (De boze autist - the angry autist) Percentually autistics tend to commit less crimes generally than NTs, with the exception of arson (setting fire to buildings ...

At first thought, I would agree with MountainLaurel. The first would be a TOM issue, the second politeness or etiquette. But I start to wonder why Eloa was told only to say bye-bye to Kathie and why the other people was not explicitly mentioned in the request. Then I think, the man was thinking that...

I went to the motor riding instructor again. During the driving lessons (to keep up the driving skills) I and my driving instructor went to the exercising terrain for motorcycling. I think this is not going to work. The motor instructor thinks that my processing of information is too slow. It is suf...

I am pretty positive. NT's hardly understand us at this time, but I think they will face the reality about autistics and they will very probably finally understand. I am pretty optimistic and therefore voted YES.

I cannot speak for other austistics but I have a very unusual musical taste. It is not very different, but its very broad. A former group home staff member told me that autistics are often attracted to synthesizer music. I don't know if that is true. I especially liked synth music when I was younger...
