These days a lot of people take medications to lead a more normal life.

Those with allergies or breathing issues often carry special medications.

It may be easier to socialize if you are people who share a special interest.
If theater is a special interest it will help to meet people who share that interest.

If you have autism it will take a lot of energy just to be around other people.

Even if you don't socialize your mind will spend a lot of time processing social interactions around you.

I recall someone who enjoyed doing prep work for auto body painting.
Very limited social interaction.
But very rewarding for someone who likes to do a good job that is appreciated. If only by the guy who does the painting.

The youngest guy in my social circle recentlyt hired on as a public school teacher in New York City.
The best thing about the job is the pension he gets after twenty years. Plus the fact that he loves living in NYC.

I often go through a stretches in the middle of winter where I don't do much.
Hard to do stuff in the yard when snow covers the ground.
Last year I got out so little I was diagnosed with a vitamin D deficiency.
This year I took vitamin D supplements.

Not only did I ride out the 2008 crash I also put in a large pension disbursement into stock in 2009!
Sometimes doubling down is a good strategy!
