I use a $170 mini PC I bought two years ago with a gamer keyboard and mouse.
I'm hard on keyboards but the gamer keyboard holds up better. 24 inch monitors have come down in price.

They do like to talk about themselves.
They do like to know about interesting places to go or eat out.

I knew someone who did this.
He had a house in the greater Boston area and took a job in Hartford.

A discount from the usual hotel rates can often be negotiated.

I used to stay at the same place in Manchester Vermont a couple weekends a year.
