It has been in storage in my basement for years but I could use it to get to the grocery store if my car broke down.

Getting a used bike through a local shop sounds like a great idea!
They can make sure it is the right size for you.

I think that Iis unfair.

I could have gone on SSDI and collected a nice bank deposit every month as I had a good paying job and the required forty quarters but worked really hard on rehab and made a full recovery! I maxed out on my retirement account for decades so I now have a lot of money.

Maybe not for profit organizations that have part time jobs?
