I remember when people with autism weren't expected to have relationships. Apparently that has changed to the point where people worry that they aren't living up to expectations if they don't have a relationship. |

Sorry to hear that. These are pretty tough times for a lot of people as the federal government is being reorganized. Hopefully things will get better but for now a lot of people are frustrated. |

Changing my gender presentation to match my voice and mannerisms has made it much easier to socialize! Seems obvious but it took me decades to figure out!
Trying to match my birth gender put me in the "uncanny valley" between male and female. |

Some ideas. Stay only a short time. Sit off to one side where it is quieter. Sometimes sitting in the front row of a presentation is best because it is easier to tune out distractions. Make sure you get plenty of sleep before going! Layer your clothes so you can easily adjust to the temperature. |

A very useful relationship skill is learning to listen to a partner. Obviously you can't do that if you are constantly talking about your special interest. |

Woman have it easier in the sense that they can "fake it" much more easily. It is much harder for genetic guys. Especially if they on hormones or anxiety drugs that mess with sexual function. If you can manage without taking pills a girly guy may be far more desirable partner in bed than o... |
