Deer hunting for trophies is also allowed in Vermont.
I remember being told that people would listen on their scanners for reports of deer being killed in auto accidents so they could take the deer home.

The last British goods I've bought were a set of non-stick crumpet rings.

I wonder how they are going to get along with their new neighbors. They seem to be city dwellers, not farmers. US cities are likely to be too multicultural. Des Moines, the big city in Iowa, is 67% non-Hispanic white. There are tiny towns like Central City that are nearly all white, but they are too...

Roaches aren't too common in Connecticut. Don't recall seeing any. Mice are more common.
Last year the heavy rains drove the rats out of the sewers. I was able to catch the ones in my neighborhood with rat traps.

A lot of companies fail because they are purchased by venture capitalists and take on a lot of debt to expand operations. Then something happens and they can't pay their loan obligations. It is a lot easier for companies to survive normal ups and downs if they don't have large debts to pay. I'm sure...

In theory, yes. In practice there are bias like it mostly affects males and is a childhood affliction. A possible analogy is the calling of balls and strikes in baseball. Even at the top MLB level there are some umpires that were notoriously bad at calling balls and strikes. I have many signs of aut...

There were a lot of complaints by right wing media about how he spoke in Spanish but not English. I looked it up and the most popular language in the Americas is Spanish at 400 million. English comes in second at 280 million. Good to see that he is looking out for all Americans, not just the ones No...

I worked at being very good at written exams. 9th grade science teacher said I had the first perfect score. Perfect score in the prep school math test. The company I worked for had a technical editing test. Highest score as well! I'm sure there were better editors, but I aced the electrical engineer...
