As I gain experience I can deal with more external factors, such as a group of kids learning to play golf on the other half of the chipping green. As well as more static variables like ground slope and turf conditions.

Does confidently hitting a golf ball with a lefty club count as learning something new if you are one of the many here who are cross dominant? It took me about a week of serious practice to go from something I could do occasionally to something I could count on being able to do consistently.

There used to be a big problem with water in the basement but I fixed it! I added a lot of plants with active root system that soak up water. There is a pollarded weeping willow fifty feet from the house. About 15 feet tall. Now there is just a trickle of water that enters a window and leaves via th...

Are there folks on the autism spectrum that are good at managing their work/life balance like that doctor that works from 9 to 4? I met a nurse on a golf course that makes house calls. Her schedule allows her to play golf during the week when it is less crowded. She was rather tall and played softba...

Relationships are often initiated by non verbal communication.
Someone who is autistic may not relalize that a potential partner is signalling them non-verbally and thus ignores the overtures that person is making.

I missed social activities because there was too much pressure to do stuff for work.
Shortly after revealing to my friends that I was transgender I got the phone number from one on my female friends but never followed up on that.

But it takes money to surround yourself with nice things. Executives and doctors have the money to buy nice things but don't have the time to enjoy them! They are too busy working! I spent too much time working and doing home repair to save money. I fixed all my major appliances! Stove, washer, drye...

I've figured out that instead of being autistic, I'm transgender!
I discovered that if I present as a female, I have no issues socializing!
I present so well as female that I have no need for surgery or hormones.

I'd like to buy the most expensive house I can get approved for. I wouldnt do that if I were having a new house built as there are always delays and unexpected problems with new construction. It is best to have contingency funds available for new construction. That is also true of home repair, unle...

There are many worse things you can do than buying a nice house! If you build one you can customize it to your needs! You may be able to make a soundproof room! That would be perfect for pets and Aspies who freak out during Fourth of July Fireworks celebrations! If you like astronomy you may be able...

In Connecticut, owning your own house is a sign of status. I bought an affordable starter home which was easily converted into a retirement home as my wife became disabled before she passed away.

From what I saw in my 37 years at one job, things can get pretty heated yet someone nobody gets fired or quits! I remember punches being thrown in one case followed with denials and the whole thing just blew over. Remember that in the NT world you can throw logic out the door. Or, perhaps more accur...

I think you should stay and make them fire you!
I think it would be a good experience now that you have a better idea what is going on.
Getting fired would allow you to collect unemployment.

But, it is up to you to decide.

Whether you have autism is independent of your intelligence. That said, folks with autism often have widely varying aptitudes. Smart with some thing and dumb with with other things. I learned I'm not the only one with face blindness. I have great difficulty remembering faces. I don't worry about it....
