People are affected by how you dress, which is a problem for many Aspies because they have sensory issues. It is something you may be able to work on. What the don't tell you in the what to wear clothing shows in television is that they spend a lot of money on alterations. There may be a cheap tailo... |

Yes, that is so true. Folks don't see you as disabled unless you are in a wheelchair or obviously need some sort of assistive device to get around. |

It is likely to get worse where you live in Oklahoma before it gets better. The reason for cutting the Department of Education is to shift money from public schools to private ones. Where you live the private ones are primarily religious Catholic schools of high quality, while the public schools in ... |

Yes, I've become confident in solving problems by doing exactly that. Solving problems. I can do this on the phone or in person because I've done it over and over again. There is the expression "practice makes perfect." Carly Rae Jepsen spent well over a decade becoming a singer/writer. A ... |

Learn a new skill that would make it worthwhile for someone to send you to another country.
Companies don't want to train people for skilled jobs. They would much rather hire someone with experience. |

The Connecticut Audubon society recommended not feeding the birds for two months in 2021, due to mysterious bird kills in Maryland and Virginia, so I stopped filling my bird feeders at that time. |

I got out the hedge trimmer and cut the front half of the hedge. It won't start growing for at least a few more weeks. |

No, it seems that enough people have decided not to get vaccinated that these outbreaks are to be expected. One could do the math and predict when these outbreaks will occur based on the percentage of people vaccinated.
I do a lot of gardening so keep my tetanus shots up to date. |

No, medications are easy to prescribe and the drug companies get paid. Therapists are expensive. I remember a judge who had a stroke. He wanted to get as much speech therapy as possible before the insurance coverage ran out! If a judge has trouble getting enough therapy, how is someone unemployed go... |

An adult diagnosis of autism is only useful for knowing you have it. It doesn't help your boss, as your boss is too busy to learn all about autism in order to figure out what and what doesn't apply to you. If you need accommodations I suggest asking for exactly what you need. For example, I've had c... |

A lot of Aspies work too hard at their jobs. This is bad because it raises the expectations of what is required on the job. The natural reaction of other employees is to get rid of someone who is working too hard. You can see this on Television if you watch the Survivor shows. Those who do too much ... |

Resources for adults are a problem in the USA as a lot of services end when you become an adult. This may be an issue if you try to ask for resources for adults. Most likely there are none in your country. In the USA a lot of money for disability services comes from the federal government through th... |

If you watch Crazy Rich Asians and read the social media commentary it is possible to learn about common Chinese social customs. For instance, refusing a party invitation twice and then accepting it on the third ask is actually how it is done. |
