I had difficulties all through school and into adult life. They said there was nothing going on. At 34, I got a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome, dyslexia and dyspraxia.

Tyvärr att finns inte den samma typisk organisation här i Finland. Vi Asperger-autistiska människör här har ingenting som är rätt till os.

What I would tell anyone.... Get the means to do basic yard work or house/office cleaning. If you are good at living within a budget, it's something everyone needs, and if you are cheap enough and always can do good work, you'll get more customers. Even in a bad economy, people will part with a few...

Psychology is a wonderful discipline to be involved in.

I would definitely say 'No'.

That isn't really work. You get paid a token amount for your time, but it isn't really a job.

I'd like them to understand that 40% disabled is not equal to 100% disabled.

Finnish employers and job centre employees seem to have trouble understanding the following inequality: 100 - 40 > 0.

What I can tell you is this: if you are foreign and disabled in Finland, you will not get much in the way of benefits (to keep you going until you learn the language and get a job). They don't want us. Regardless of our qualifications. They just don't want us. Here, you'd be expected to live on 410€...
