I used to like Family Guy, I was crazy about the first three seasons, but starting in season four (when it was restarted after being cancelled) it seems that they got cocky just went crazy with the offensive jokes. Not to mention that while Peter Griffin used to be a well-meaning doofus, now he's a...

I also perfer to watch movies and TV shows with other people, but most of the time I end up watching them alone because nobody in my family ever really wants to watch the same stuff I like. :(

It's easy not to be offended by something if the jokes aren't targeted at something that's important to you. Exactly. I just get annoyed when people watch shows like Family Guy and laugh at all the terribly offensive jokes, but then get outraged and angry when a joke comes along that offends them. ...

I used to like Avatar: The Last Airbender but for some reason I lost interest in it. This show does look good, but I heard some people don't like the main character because she's kind of a jerk. Maybe over time her personality with develop better like Aang's did?

I'm not going to lie, I really do like the show Family Guy and find it hilarious. However after learning more about the creator of the show I don't think I really like him that much. He seems to have such an egotistic opinion of himself and thinks he's right about everything. He's really insensitive...

I'm not really much of a heavy reader, but there are some books that I like to read every now and then. My favorite book series is the Young Royals by Carloyn Meyer which are supposed to be for teenage girls yet I enjoyed reading the books in High School and still do. These books are about real wome...

I feel this way too, it's really hard being around people who are angry or upset because I end up feeling it too and I never know why. It's also why I have a difficult time confronting people because I feel like if I upset them then I will feel upset and anxious too.

I hate to say this, but maybe a complete economic collapse would shut people the hell up and force them to rebuild what's left of our society? If people realized just how good they have it today by loosing everything maybe they'd develope a little more humility.

One of the things that really gets me is racism. Just about everyone I know is racist in some way, and I'm honestly not. People look down on me for getting offended when I see somebody say something rude about a person because of their skin color, and I just don't understand it because when I was a ...

I guess I like to believe there was a time when humans were more compassionate and respectful to their fellow men, but I could be wrong. Still it sucks that I try to be that way and nobody else does.

I just can't get over the feeling I have about humanity sinking down a dark hole. Every time I look at the news I always get depressed from learning about the bad stuff people do to each other, and it seems like everywhere I go regardless if it's on the internet or in the real world I'm seeing a lot...

No. I hate being at the center of attention. I do whatever I can to get out of it. It's not that I have a desire to be "The center of attention", it's just that my whole life I have been pretty much ignored by everybody because of the fact that I am so quiet and mild-mannered, so when I discovered ...

I can sympathize with the OP. To a degree. I have a conflict in that I'd like attention (to some extent), but I also don't want attention and would prefer to avoid it at all costs. It leads me to say things that I know will kill the possibility of actually talking to someone for more than three min...

I was an attention seeker as a kid. I did stuff to get attention and to see how people react. It was just something I had a hard time controlling then. I wonder if I had narcissistic tenancies. BTW it didn't sound like attention seeking in your OP. How is posting online attention seeking? I thought...
