I think they only shout when I dont see them or Im pretending not to see them. Usually its personal abuse about my appearance or just crude stuff like f**king twat, not very subtle. I can't always hear what they are saying because I can't filter out the traffic noise. I also don't always recognise p...

Thanks, i'll get a cheap mobile phone with a camera, I was worried the police wouldn't take it seriously. I live in the UK and carrying any kind of weapon is illegal. mace is illegal but can be got hold of. but I think it would be a last resort. It only hit me today how serious the situation had got...

For about 5 months I've been followed by groups of young people in the street. Sometimes they shout abuse once right in my face from six inches away. Mostly they just film me on their mobile phones usually its quite blatant. At first I ignored It, hoping they would get bored. The last time it happen...

I think the OP is being silly but I'll take the bait. AS is massively underdiagnosed according to recent research by the NHS with each GP having between 1 and 9 undiagnosed adult patients (The NHS is a conservative organisation and wouldn't say so lightly.). It is much more common for people to have...

It is very common for people your Fathers age to be Misdiagnosed or undiagnosed. Although I have no way of Knowing if that is true for your Father. It's what happened to me. The higher functioning types of autism were only recognised in the early 1990s so this means that most people over the age of ...

I'm also in the same situation, having had a kind of breakdown about six months ago thats made me re-evaluate my life and I've basically fallen apart. I am also physically disabled though not severely which confounds the problem I also tried to create a schedule but found it didn't work because it w...

I'm also lucky to have a council flat which is public housing owned by the local authority. If you are a good tenant then you have it for life which takes away the insecurity and stress of renting privately. But demand outstrips supply.

I have no support of a practical nature though.

Apparently the social security rates in the UK are relatively low but OK. Sorry I'm not up to finding statistics. The figure above is slightly misleading as we also get money seperately to pay our rent and local taxes. But if you live in a higher rent area this may not cover the full amount. But we ...

I'm sorry you've been turned down for funding. I've been referred for assessment and I assume that means the funding has been approved. But as far I'm aware they can always change their mind and withdraw the funding which is making me anxious. And the waiting list is very long. I think you have a ri...

Can't work out how to PM a moderator, but then I doubt I'm the most computer literate person on here. Could someone else do it? I just looked at the rules and anything violent is banned content. Anyway, maybe there can be system put in place if it happens again.

It's obviously not possible for anyone to help this man on WP and as it's likely to frighten and upset a lot of people I think it should be deleted. How does that work? There can't be a small army of moderators checking every post as it comes in, How do we draw attention to something like that quick...

I didn't want to name it specifically as I was making a general point but as you've asked its entitled

'Personality Flaws That Keep Us Out Of a Relationship'

Am I too squeamish?

It upset me a lot.

What do you think?

Is it acceptable?

There is a very graphic sadistic fantasy type thread just been posted. I really dont think it should have got through. I'm not in favour of censorship but what is the system for blocking such nastiness?

A lot of people are on the spectrum but its not adversly affecting their quality of life. You don't seem miserable. But that could be misleading. It's OK to be eccentric but if it's messing up your life then you need an explanation ( whatever the case actually is) so that you can manage your life an...
