Right now even a GOP nomination for Trump seems impossible, but De Santis shows signs of impending political self destruction. So Trump might win...

Back in the Seventies anthropologist Margaret Mead would say that "the average suburban American has 80 to a 100 'energy slaves' in their home". That is...the average middle class american - with our electrical appliances, and modern conveniences, has the equivalent of 80 human slaves work...

Starting another "whose holocaust was the worst?" debate is inane and stupid. Hitler is not judged "more harshly", but about equally harshly as others. Stalin or Mao might have killed more people in camps, but they didnt start a world war that killed more millions. And if Hitler ...

Conventional poetry is fine - haiku is crap.

Haiku has no meter or rhythm or rhyme, just a format.

I'm in a position where really I only want to do a couple per week and sitting outside with one is almost like an hour long meditative practice of sorts. There's also a sense of history with it as well as the various flavors that can come through the tobacco. One of the things I had to give up in d...

Tiny little Lebanon fell apart in the Seventies. Iraq was held together by the brute force of Saddam Hussien. And its a miracle that ...

For some reason I think if the above debaters compare this new type of energy production to say when we discovered nuclear power and how long that took. So, yeah, maybe 20 years..
