The demonstrators boast that they will reinstate Trump into office on September 18th. Given the extreme federal penetration of right wing groups (take a look at the Buzzfeed articles on the Whitmer plot if you don't believe me), there's a real question of who actually announced and organized the ev...

Impossible to pick one single favorite song. But you can come close. My pick would be a certain innovative song from way back in 1947 in which the singer single handily invented both rocknroll, AND invented rap music- in the same performance! AND...the song was....a plea for peace and understanding ...

"Welfare" is controlled by the state government, and not by the Feds anyway. So Biden doesnt have much to do with it. And because of the covid everything related to things like that (like unemployment compensation) is in temporary upheavel anyway. The country will be in crises mode before ...

Interesting. For a number of reasons. Interesting how gut bacteria, like body lice DNA, can yield clues about human evolution. Also interesting how now that China is flexing its muscles - it just as imperialistic and ethnocentric in prejudices about human evolution as the Victorian Brits who all fel...

The demonstrators boast that they will reinstate Trump into office on September 18th. The demonstration fizzles when virtually no one shows up. The joke is on the demonstrators. Not on the people who take them at their word by preparing to protect the Capitol building from them. Trump's last rally f...

Then what is white thinking?

Its "black and white thinking", as opposed to "shades of gray thinking".

Black and White is all or nothing -something is all good, or its all bad .

Shades of gray means to recognize nuances, in between situations, and like that.

Nobody "likes" to be "told off".

But it happens to everyone once in a while.

Sometimes youre guilty of what the person is telling you off about, and sometimes not. Either way you have to roll with it.

Oddly enough the French are at least as upset about this as are the Chinese. If not more so. Because the new alliance caused Australia to drop its deal to buy subs from France.

It's a meaningless question. You have to define "nice". Then youre comparing one group of millions of people (aspies) to another (80 times larger) group of millions of people (neurotypicals). And there are different contexts in which any person acts differently. Ted Bundy was probably a ra...

If you "diverge" from a path you can diverge in any direction. You may diverge in the opposite direction from someone else who also diverged. Ergo you would be farther from that other divergent person than you are from the majority who stick to the path. And they from you. If you wander of...
