Did you know that you can choose to simply not respond at all, even if they have asked you a direct question or given you a direct comment? Ignore him. I give them a blank look with a slightly furrowed brow, as if they are a confusing specimen of starfish I caught a glimpse of. Then I return to what...

I think the longer you sit there fantasizing about having sex all the time, the more nervous and "weird" you'll act with girls and it will drive them away. I agree with the poster above: do you have anything against paying for your first experience, since you don't want a relationship anyw...

I tolerated my evil/crazy parents for years, but every time they called or I saw them I started getting actual panic attacks. After a while the panic attacks became so bad that I could no longer answer the phone or the door when it was them. Thus I began to feel better over time by not being able to...

I'm an aspie girlfriend. My NT boyfriend is going through some rough times right now with his elderly mother. She was in hospital with pneumonia, then she had a stroke and went into a coma. It's been 2 weeks and no improvement. I'd like to be more comfortable around this subject. But I'm pretty sure...

I've worked at several impossible jobs. The one time I forced myself to stay at work and not resign, I ended up having a nervous breakdown after 3 years there. Then it took even longer to recover from that than from regular stress, so I don't think I should have stayed there. You probably cut your l...

As you chat here and read some of the other posts, you will over time either identify with the feelings expressed and the difficulties people encounter, or you will realize that very little of this applies to you.You will probably realize if you're similar to many other people here.

I hate people staring at me. That's why I always wear sunglasses even on cloudy days. I feel a lot better that they can't look into my eyes, even if they're still looking right at me. In winter I pull the hood of my coat up over my head so they can't see my face. If people didn't hate Muslims so muc...

I had a friend/roommate who took 2 or 3 hours to get up and get dressed. Once I realized that she couldn't help it, I made sure that she never had an appointment before 1 pm. And I would tell her "it's time to get ready" about 3 hours before we were due to leave. It also took her 1-1/2 to ...

You should see a doctor and perhaps take a multivitamin if your diet is limited. Tiredness could be due to depression or to a number of different physical problems. Your doctor will do blood tests and possibly a sleep study to explore various causes. No one can actually diagnose this online.

Dating becomes an endless cycle:

1. You're tired of feeling alone so you try to date.
2. You get sick and tired of people who are fake, mean or even abusive.
3. You give up all attempts to date and decide to just be alone.
4. Return to step 1 over and over.

My husband ran off and left behind me and his dog. I kept his dog and she has never run off or abused me and she is a great listener. Therefore I would recommend getting a dog. Also, people stop to pet her and comment on her all the time because she's cute, so presumably I could make some friends th...
