Trebornos64 ... now that I know you had a chance to read my original post, I've removed it. Sadly, I'm not anonymous here anymore. In other words, there are people IRL who know both me and my WP identity. That's the reason I don't hang here much. But, hopefully you were able to see my point. And you...

I've never even been in a relationship. And I'm almost 24. It's annoying being awkward and not extremely bad looking, because then guys just assume that I'm snooty, or dating someone else. Maybe guys just don't like awkward girls? Who knows? But I believe that the time comes for everyone. It's not ...

I'm looking to see if anyone here likes listening to classical music, and if so who and what do you like to listen to? Definitely. It's not the only thing I listen to, but it's the only thing I seriously listen to -- if that makes sense. I'm mostly drawn to Baroque keyboard music, but I'll listen t...

A Yamaha Clavinova. Not sure which model ... but I'm in the process of saving for one of them. Room in my house for a Drum Kit. :) This too. :) I live in an Apartment, and my drums are currently in an attic 3000 miles away (Haven't played them in almost 2 years). Drums were the first instrument I le...

Yes, it's cute. But, it would be much better (IMO) if you could say all this in person. Why do you need to send a letter?

I agree with the folks above. Everything you've said in your self-description is consisent with AS (AFAIK); and nothing you've said is inconsistent with AS (again, AFAIK). But, that's still a pretty long way away from a diagnosis. How about finding a doctor who might be of more help? Living in Swede...

I feel badly for the emotional pain you're experiencing. But, when you say this ---v he said he didn't want to continue the relationship because I don't have plans of returning there ...my reaction is that he is being totally reasonable. Whether you need him to experience the same pain that you're e...

Either way thread author has my congrats. You tried to do something about your life instead of whining on an internet forum about how women are shallow air heads and gold diggers. :P Hell yeah. This dude rocks. He knows it and so does everyone else. Which just makes him rock even harder. It's self-...

I would definitely bring that list if I were you. So far as I understand this, diagnosing a 4-year-old with AS is extremely difficult to do, and anyone who tries is likely going to need lots of your input. Of course it's going to influence the diagnosis -- hopefully toward the most accurate one poss...

I think you did a great job just by asking for an email buddy outright here on the forum. +1 I totally agree. I like the straightforward and direct approach. It's actually a pretty appealing invitation, and I'd be surprised if you don't have an e-mail buddy by now. If we were age-appropriate, I wou...

Has anyone else with aspergers been speech delayed? According to the DSM IV's Diagnostic Criteria for Asperger's Disorder: "There is no clinically significant general delay in language (E.G. single words used by age 2 years, communicative phrases used by age 3 years)." I've always wondered what the...

I'm wondering whether to go see a hypnotherapist to help me deal with depression, anger and laziness since it acts on the subconscious but I'm not sure whether it is worth it in the long run. In my country insurance doesn't pay for hypnosis only regular psychiatrists. Why don't you look into tradit...

People get married at any age. The age is not that important, but it is a little more difficult for women over 40 to get a partner. Why? Just because there are more women than men, and on top of it a large part of the population is gay, the by the time you are 40 the amount of men that can marry yo...
