I love the trippy part - infinity & beyond (or something like that) with expanding solar systems and the light show travel scenes with short freeze frames of the traveller's contorted face. Stunning.

Also where he shuts Hal down and Hal is saying 'I'm afraid Dave'. Pure pathos.

I have this problem when at nightclubs or pubs, though I rarely go out. Not only is it difficult to understand conversation but the music is generally so loud it causes me discomfort.

I find phone conversations worse, when background noise is present I can't focus at all.

I have to cut my nails short or I bite them when I'm anxious. I also noticed my dad has morbidly short nails, as did my best friend in school who I'm positive has aspergers.

Even when I had a girlfriend I used to masterbate. I actually prefer it to sex. I used to do it a lot but now only a few times a week. It's great to live in an age where the ability to watch attractive people fornicating is so widely available.

Yes. I am fascinated by the bizarre and taboo, though more inquisitive than actually partake in such activities. My life is relatively dull and that's how I like it. I guess that which is taboo makes me think about why it is taboo and why people enjoy or engage in it. It also makes me feel that I am...

Last week I purchased the first three seasons on DVD after reading a post on this forum recently. I've only watched the first 10 episodes so far. Very funny. The characters seem to represent different aspects of my personality. I look forward to watching more this weekend.

I also become more active (almost hyperactive) and eat much less when stoned. I never dream when I smoke, compared to several dreams per night when I don't. It reduces my anxiety but does make me less social. It seems to heighten my emotional state, if I am depressed it makes me more so, if I am hap...

I noticed that myself and members of my family have very good long term memory but poor short term memory. I've also noticed it in others that had aspie traits. My short term memory was terrible for years, accentuated by alcohol and other drugs. That said, even during this time, my long term memory ...

Thank you automatic tellers and online shopping, I love buying most of my consumer needs without human interaction.

I don't buy much from supermarkets and I know the exact location of the items I need. When they are crowded it can be a hassle so I try to do it during quiet times if possible.

Hate phone calls too and usually procrastinate for long periods when it comes to calling. Usually if the call is not absolutely required I end up not calling at all. I pretty much only talk to my parents when it comes to personal calls. I've found I have great difficulty concentrating on phone conve...

I prefer people to be wearing sunglasses when I talk to them. I generally look at people's mouths or noses when they aren't wearing them, with the occasional look away when I start to feel self conscious.

I have good coordination but I detest dancing, especially in nightclubs. Very loud shite music with lots of people doing the same repetitive movements over and over and over. There is a hell.
