Very true I once heard a story about a woman sueing McDonalds because she ordered a hot coffee and it spilled on her. She sued because it was too hot though that is what she orded. And she won the law suit I was like geez welcome to America  In this case, the woman did spill it on herself, wh...

Linguist, psychologist, and general intellectual Steven Pinker actually made the exact opposite argument in The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined . He uses historical data to show that as cultures evolved from hunter-gatherer bands to settled city-states to larger kingdoms to mo...

Why must working hard and having fun be mutually exclusive? Also, why must fun and joy be limited to the life of the party? Personally, I find most people's idea of "partying" to be boring. Alcohol doesn't make people more fun or interesting to be around, it makes them stupid and annoying. It seems...

Conservatism makes the world a worse place because it makes the world a more boring place. Everything else follows from here. I currently work as a software engineer ensconced deep within the bowels of Corporate America: tie, starched white shirt, and all. Needless to say, the workplace, which seems...

Staring at a woman or looking at her isn't creepy necessarily. A lot of women get turned on a little bit if you look at them in the right way; staring for twenty seconds off on the side and not saying anything is different, though, and is usually considered creepy.

Socially, I lean pretty liberal: I am a strong civil libertarian and support Keynesian economic policies, a strong social-welfare safety net, and a market-based economy that works for everyone. I feel that President Barack Obama has not done enough to support this kind of "classical" (not as in Haye...

I think your definition of cool is kind of skewed because I've known people that have more "cool" characteristics, almost all of them in fact and they generally were more tolerant and would say stuff like "Yeah, you like that man? Well you rock on buddy." This doesn't remind me of "the cool kids" f...

Sorry, I kind of doubt there'd be enough votes for the Democratic Party to become just another far-right party; they'd lose the liberals who'd just become disgusted enough not to vote, and then the Republicans would just get the right-wing vote anyway.

Learn Ruby using the website Hackety Hack! JavaScript through Code Academy is another good option. I'd recommend against learning C++ as your first programming language since QBasic from years ago.

Dude, This is a website, Not a java VM. Simply put, The first thing you need to do is Re-Write the CMS. Then get onto the Java. Dude, I'm talking about setting up a sort of proxy that scrapes this website (since obviously I have no direct access to the server or database) and then spits out mobile-...

ISo, in conclusion, don't assume that because you're an aspie, smarter and feel like you're more of an individual who isn't understood that you will be accepted as a hipster. It is a very exclusive club and its not one worth joining. Just be yourself, dislike mainstream stuff because a good chunk o...

Why are you telling people to start being white-trash rednecks? I'm actually suggesting these as role models for masculinity: http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/1397/hemanq.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z189/13SneakyPete13/junk/5-1.jpg http://www3.pictures.gi.zimbio.com/2006+Billboard+Musi...

AKA a f*ggot Sorry I hate hipsters. Well, if you're not cool, maybe you should reconsider invading fox holes because being hip is more aspie compatible than being cool. Anyway most hipster characteristics, in isolation, are not especially "f@ggish." Cool people are more often politically liberal th...

As a generality, no because, if they were athletic or muscular, they would not be able to fit into their skinny jeans.
