Having more empathy goes a long way.Such as in a store and at the register you genuinely ask the cashier/bagger how they are doing. We get so hung up on ourselves at times that we often fail to think of others after our needs have been met.Have a smile ready when you go out in public and remember tha...

I like autobiographies as well.I love to learn about how others lived their lives and how they have contributed to the world.Has anyone read any Colette? "My Mother's House" and "Sido" are short works by her that are really beautiful.I really enjoyed Harry Belafonte's and Sidney Poiter's autobiograp...

Yes it certainly does exist. When someone cares about and makes the effort to see you, make you comfortable, cook for you, accompany you places, exercise with you, clean up,wakes me looking at you, meets you after the dentist which we all is not fun, sends sweet and supportive texts throughout the day when ...

I wish basil could grow upside down so I could grow it from my kitchen ceiling and just reach up and pick some when I want.I...

I totally used to count the number of times I chewed.I think I was up to at least 30 at one point. 8O But I've never had a scale. It was like obsession with needing to be thin and controlling what I ate.Now I am so much kinder to myself.

I don't understand why anyone would obsess over a "celebrity" unless they have some kind of psychosis problem. My sister and my cousin both read about them constantly,I'm more critical and although I love fashion I get tired of the emphasis on celebrities wearing the clothes to give the designer publ...
