Here is a good one. Autism is a psychiatric disorder as portrayed in some awareness's. 1. The idea of being perceived mentally ill and not simply having a developmental disability can be harsh to the self-esteem and others perceptions of individuals with a form of autism. 2. Autism Spectrum however ...

I really do not believe the psychological aspects are proven. It can also create anxiety and reduce motivations. IF this were any other approved substance I'd be saying nothing works for everyone. There is also the possibility that without it after enjoying it increases depression, anxiety and so on...

Ci: No offense, but could you work a little with your "commas"? i find it difficult at times to get your point because of it. I understand the necessity to point out the negative, but thats been the major focus through all of it. If thats all they want to put out there, then thats what people will ...

The enormous focus on the negative i suppose, but i wouldn't say i'm offended just a bit annoyed. "Yes yes yes, i get that we the homogeneous group of autistic people are a nuisance." The negative can effect the self-esteem. When it comes to awareness people focus on the negatives I think so people...

Being called a Pride Mite because I disagree with somebody here. My suggestion is to not longer call people curebees when they want a cure. But I do agree with you people should not call people names. I made it up to create fairness by neutralizing the insults in context to what has happened over t...

Should the advocacy of the very high functioning who concerns like isolation not apply to be separated from those whom otherwise it does apply to. To what extend does another person not liking a type of awareness should hinder the advocacy for which it applies to? I propose other then a shared diagn...

You can ban me at anytime but my feeling is and will continue to be despite banning me or not people with Asperger's online in these groups are not always in my and others best interest who have disabilities not covered by the peer social politics. That's my feeling and that's other peoples feeling...

Hyperlexian a personal attack is a personal attack and there is no arguing around that. This is not a situation of apples are oranges but apples are apples according to the rules. It does not matter who started what according to the rules. Anytime someone posts a topic they have a subject for their...

I can see that some "mods" don't follow the rules. I can assure you what I've communicated has been very productive and in the interest of those who have been smothered by social peer politics or not included in these alike discussion usually out of disinterest or lack of knowledge of them. If you w...

I can assure you no enemies found here can effect what I do. I'm not concerned about it. So, as enemies and hostility are literally all you are drawing to yourself, what is the actual point in you spending, what must be, almost every waking posting here? Isn't that just one, big negative waste of t...

In autism awareness in society as a whole by organizations and media what offends you? If many things offend you let us know the top four or five. In reply I may detail alternative ways to understand rather then being offended that you might consider or simply agreeing with you and offering then sti...

I would get a blog or a private site where you can do whatever you want to your hearts content. That is actually a very good idea, and you would want to consider it,Ci. Also, maybe consider sitting down quietly and figuring out how to separate your political and advocacy issues from you personal is...

I don't recall anyone ever being told off for talking about a cure. It's when you go calling people 'cureby' and 'pride-mite', then you've weaponised an idea, and it's being used against specific individuals. I don't know what kind of strange lawyers trick you think you're trying to pull, but it is...

The point is everyone has the responsibility to act accordingly to the rules. Issues in of themselves if brought forth on this forum because of their nature would violate the rules. Bringing them up because of how personal they are would violate the rules. However the compromise is when issues are m...

If that means excluding the reality of others in the disability they experience for social peer pressure we have a problem. Not just ethical but that of moral and inciting civil rights violations against the most vulnerable. I am approaching this matter like others with the big picture approach. Let...
