Hey everyone, I haven't been on here in a real long time so it may be a bit presumptuous of me to post this, but... I've created a new Facebook page titled "Autism Is Sexy." For anyone who lives in Los Angeles, I have a 14 x 48 poster on the corner of Sunset and LaBrea. If you go on my Facebook page...

Can't agree with your assessment of Dr. Paul, Longshanks-- and neither will most of your colleagues in the military, given that he has the highest level of support of any R candidate by our men and women in the armed forces. That you would support an arrogant right-wing nutjob like Santorum means th...

Longshanks-- you don't like Owebama... you don't like anyone running against him... who will you support this election?
I don't recall GJ ever advocating for the massive disarmament Ron Paul has.

Rick Santorum needs to be cured-- of his anti-choice, anti-woman, antiquated conservatism.

Let's not forget, folks, that he left his state with a BILLION-DOLLAR SURPLUS. And no the drug policy hasn't changed, but voting advocates for drug law reform is the first step toward getting it changed. The Libertarian party IS viable-- because in the next four years, the Republicrats will screw up...

What is the best way to help or get help for an Aspie teen who feels suicidal? Remembering how I felt back then, the main thing to keep in mind is that they're lonely. They likely have no close friends, are in love with someone who doesn't even know they exist, or, far worse, finds them creepy and ...

Well Adderall is basically prescribed speed, so that's important to keep in mind. I can't imagine it would be a good fit for autistics, given that our brains are always working in overdrive as it is. This med is best prescribed for someone with ADD who can't focus or pay attention-- but NOT for some...

In my experience, the best doctors are those who DON'T go overboard with diagnosing various conditions from the DSM. They treat you not as a specimen, but a human being, with each symptom, whether or not it is indicative of a psychological disorder. That being said, this person is a judgemental douc...

This is certainly a problem for those of us on the spectrum, and in my instance, it has led to a lot of self-medication-- BAD!! ! This overactive brain common among autistics is a chemical condition and while I have not pursued the oft-recommended method of mediation (I can't get my brain to calm do...

If his avatar is a picture of him, I'd imagine it's not too bad.

Hate to burst your bubble, but it's David Duchovny of "X-Files" fame.

A couple weeks ago my town library had me do a presentation and book signing of my published memoir "Problem Child." Toward the end of the presentation a DROP DEAD BEAUTIFUL young woman walked into the room and stood in the back. She was gorgeous, with features that could rival a model's. When about...

Strip clubs and brothels. I'm not kidding or trying to be funny or look cool; I'm dead serious. In all my 30 years the best and most relaxed interaction I've had with women was at strip clubs. Realize that a great deal of guys that patronize strip clubs are douchebags, while we tend to be the nice o...

I have two tattoos: one on my upper arm which means "Forever" in Armenian script (some commemorative ink for a ladyfriend), and one over my heart from a long-ago fling. Unfortunately I went through a self-cutting phase and the one over my heart now has scars crisscrossing it. I wanted to get a phoen...

A lot of the answer to your question depends on if you're male or female. If you're a girl, go for it, but be prepared to get lots of responses from desperate men. If you're a dude, forget it; don't waste your money. Small fish in a very big pond. The female members gets LOADS of messages from TONS ...

Benzodiazepines: Valium, Klonopin etc. add some Benadryl for added effect. Alcohol is a bad idea. It works but at a terrible price. Used to do it a lot but now stay away from it completely. Exercise, mind stimulation etc. just makes the problem worse. Advice to indulge in such is usually given by NT...
