Yes, I am aware that other meds are out there. I've discussed the problem with my psychiatrist... Abilify is, in me, used to treat something else (not anxiety). Mostly just curious what other people have experienced.

Has anyone ever had success with Abilify REDUCING anxiety? It is sometimes prescribed for ASD and OCD. It actually increases my anxiety, but it makes those features/symptoms worse, not better.

To clarify - I didn't mean the 'title' sounds bad, I meant the way it affects you sounds debilitating. I'm not very good with words and often say the wrong thing.

I was not bothered by it. No worries.

Yes, Multiple Complex Developmental Disorder sounds pretty bad, but I am doing pretty good considering they have meds that help a lot.

It's weird, isn't it? The way anxiety fluctuates between being motivating, and crippling. What meds are you on? I find the meds I tried (and I tried a lot) made me generally not care about anything, but I still had outbreaks of severe anxiety. CBT helped me to an extent, but I found it to be highly...

I realize the reason humans get anxiety. It's supposed to be helpful in a position of stress so that a person gets more energy. Sometimes it goes haywire. My anxiety levels are way down, compared to what they used to be, mostly as a result of medication. It still varies from time to time. Here's the...

Has anyone heard of this? It is thought that some people react to certain foods, because certain component substances of the food pass through the intestine and into blood stream. By far, most people in the world do not have this problem. I SEEM to. A lot of foods can cause serious anxiety/mood prob...

Posted here because I am going to talk about some things which are very physically intimate. Is is possible to be just friends with someone you used to be romantic and physically intimate with? I wonder. I dated a girl in 2013 and we broke up July of that year. The relation had not lasted long, but ...

I know some basic chemistry, but I don't know some of this terminology. What is "cell balancing"?

I have been told that if you have a rechargeable battery, such as in a laptop computer, that you should use the battery, running it down to a low level, in order keep it working properly, i.e., they keep their life longer. Do any of you know what is the reason for this?

I get temporary erectile problems shortly after eating eggs. I have seen some information on the web about eggs and erectile dysfunction, but they are related mostly to cholesterol. My cholesterol is OK even with eggs, and this type of problem would be long-term, if I understand things correctly -- ...

(And I happen to like bigger girls.) I am 6'5" tall and weigh about 225-230 lbs. What do you think? One woman I know tol...

Well, I do have a biology degree, and although I am not the best experimentalist, I think of it this way:

For me, at least,

Coffee + bovine milk = me feeling like s**t
Coffee + soy milk = me feeling quite well

Doesn't sound as though you were really close to a person if you just did not remember calling them.
