Do you think that Arbaclofen has helped you with abstract thougth? Reading emotions and social cues? Thank you so much No. I still have problems generalizing and the reciprocity of conversation is still strange to me. I am, however, less likely to "stay on script." IE, 95% of the time when I say so...

Holy thread bump Batman! I am kinda surprised to see this thread again. I was searching to see if any news had been released yet on the study and saw that this thread has returned. My first post was a little 'bouncy', so this time I will state it as a more of a matter of fact. I just recently entere...

I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. I hate everything it stands for. The idea of having a school vacation after a set of grueling midterms is acceptable but what do these people do with it? These people, who are in my own peer group (Age, Socioeconomic Class, Students, etc.), spend their time getting b...

Yes. I am masochistic in nature; any pain that I do to myself is meaningful and feels better than anything I have ever done before. Yes, to me, it even feels better than *that.* If you do it, you need to be careful with it. You need to be able to distinguish "I like pain" or "I like the sensation" f...

Baclofen and Arbaclofen are different. Baclofen is on the market now while Arbaclofen is still in the experimental stage.

Hello everyone. My name is Lord Azernak0, but you can just call me Azernak0 if you mention it only in the highest possible regard. I am medically diagnosed with High Function Autistic Spectrum Disorder. I was diagnosed when I was 18 after 15 years of my mother's private speculation and was about as ...

Quick, what is the word for "hatred or dislike of women"! Misogyny, right? Most people know that word. The United States, hell all of the world, has had a problem in regards to women's rights. Less than a hundred years ago, women could not vote. It was just 30 years ago that a woman was nominated to...

I do not have a food intolerance but I will eat the same thing over and over. It's kind of funny in that I will naturally want to eat exactly what I ate the night before. If I ate Hamburger Helper yesterday, than I will usually feel mildly "bummed" that I am not eating the same thing tonight even if...

Read it. Thought it was B. I than re-read because I knew it was some kind of trick. "No, it has to be B because he is going to the balloon man and the balloon man said he was going to the fairground." Yeah... I thought I was only incapable of knowing what other people were thinking. Guess I'm even m...

That's possibly the most ludicrous thinking I ever heard. Making the concept even more ridiculous is the fact they are talking about a disabled person. If a person in a wheelchair is shouting at you and punches you, there is no justification for attacking back because it is extremely easy to leave t...

Is that aspergic/autistic? I do that but I haven't been diagnosed but been referred for diagnosis! Well, it depends. Some people just like listening to the same song. For other people, and myself, there's comfort in familiarity and fascination. I mean ,if everyone was on the Autism Spectrum for lis...

Big time.

Currently, it is Cee Lo Green's "F*** you!" and "Crazy." I will hear a song in a commercial, movie, or whatever and I will essentially loop it for days. I don't really have control over what song will scratch an itch, but it's gone from Wagner to Gangster Rap overnight at times.

I was diagnosed with High to Low-Severe Asperger's Syndrome What the heck is that? My reaction too. It's either High, Low or severe. Maybe different aspects? Like high verbal, low executive function, severe sensory issues? I am either on the super high side of 'High' or on the low side of 'Severe' ...

I was diagnosed with High to Low-Severe Asperger's Syndrome last year. It didn't bother me and to this day it still doesn't bother me but it did make me think of something that could be mildly depressing. "You are who you are. You feel very strongly about things you think are important (Religion, Po...

Though I think the movie was a giant pile of garbage, Adam has the best description in my book. "It's not like anything. It just is ." I don't consider the fact that I think differently as a prison. Autism Spectrum people are likely wired differently. A Picasso painting and an O'Keeffe painting look...
