It’s really telling that the anti-abortion crowd have to resort to lies in order to support their arguments. “Baby killing” indeed  No babies are ever killed by abortion, because abortion doesn’t relate to babies. That’s all the proof you need that there’s nothing wrong with abortion. If ther... |

The time span of evolution is not measured in years, but in generations. How fast evolution can occur is dependent on how long it takes for a newly conceived individual to get to the point of reproducing. Human evolution occurs slowly because it takes a decade or two at minimum for us to get from co... |

I'm sure giving birth to a baby is 1000 times more sensory triggering (severe pain) than breastfeeding/cuddling a baby. It's a one-time event that everyone expects you to find overwhelming. Meanwhile, breastfeeding and cuddling are things you generally do for hours each day while caring for a baby,... |

I felt glad that children have better protection. My rights as a woman should not include a license to kill someone because their existence is temporarily inconvenient to me. |

I think muscular lean men tend to get the most respect, and obese men and scrawny men both tend to be treated less well. |

From my experience, when you meet a girl and she’s in a relationship already, you will never wind up dating this girl, even if she breaks up with her boyfriend. I have never been successful with chasing girls who had boyfriends when I met them but broke up afterwards. And yes I chased them after th... |

I feel like an NT with the same highly unique sexual preferences as me (kinky grey-asexual with an unusual and fairly exclusive kink) would have similar dating troubles. My biggest problem is that there's probably only like 100 people in the whole world who are actually sexually compatible with me, ... |

One of my nieces is only 19 months but can say a lot of words and can even count. She'll probably be reading next. Does this mean she's going to be gifted, or just extroverted? Her development seems to be coming along extremely fast and early. Could this cause autism? I read that autism can occur i... |

I'm certain I have it, because I do feel an impulsive urge to defy people.. It's not like they say it is though where you do it just to defy.. It's related to OCD, in that way where when you really feel you need to say something, it's hard to stop yourself, or stop yourself from repeating yourself ... |

My parents haven't disowned my adoptive siblings who sexually molested me. They kicked them out to protect me, but still care about them and are open to contact with them (my dad is Facebook friends with one of them). So if sexually molesting children isn't enough to lose my parents' love, I don't t... |

I wouldn't enjoy the "perfect child" you described. The unquestioning obedience is something that my dog shows, and while it's useful sometimes, it also gives me anxiety because I know if I mistakenly tell her to harm herself, she will. (For example, she sat on a thistle once because I tol... |

However, if I'm wrong and a cure can be developed, it's not my place to say if someone should or shouldn't take it. I certainly wouldn't shame someone who felt that their ASD was a burden to them because everyone has different experiences with their own autism. I've worked with autistic kids whose ... |

I think of neurodivergence as innate, biologically based differences in brain function, and many causes of psychosis qualify. However, psychosis is a symptom, and there are psychotic people I wouldn't consider neurodivergent. For example, someone who is high on LSD is psychotic, but only temporarily... |
